Swiftstar padded from his den calmly, letting the slight breeze stir his fur. He slipped across camp across the tree roots over to the fresh-kill pile. He calmly picked a small crawny mouse, not wanting to be a pain and take any of the plump fish so he left them for his hard-working clanmates.

Snowpaw and Owlpaw burst from the apprentice den before tripping on one of the tree roots and falling flat on their faces. "OWWWWWW!" They moaned in chorus, shuffling to their paws, "I know were good at climbing and swimming and all but who said that we could see our paws really well!"

Clouddash dashed out of his den, grinning as the sun shone through the leaves of the maple tree snd lit the whole camp gold.

Squirrelfur bounced out after him.

Rabbittail rushed out of the den also.
