Skykit, along with her brother Spiderkit were both born during the warm heat of new-leaf. Their mother Frozengaze had named Skykit after her sky blue eyes, and named Spiderkit after his long legs. Within moments Frozengaze introduced the kits to Silentstep, her mate and father of the two. Skykit and Spiderkit grew quickly, though Skykit was slightly smaller than most of the kits within the nursery, the two always caused trouble. Just like all kits did when they were younger. At the age of six moons, both kits were made apprentices. Skypaw's mentor was Icetooth, a stern, yet considerate tom. Her brother received Foxtail, a silent and nervous she-cat. Icetooth trained Skypaw hard, always telling her that she'd be the best apprentice within the clan, but he was soon to realise her strength lied in her small size and her speed, not in her strength. So they began a different way of training and she soon became a worthy hunter and fighter in the clan. She and her brother were soon to receive their warrior names, Skypaw being named Skywish for unknown reasons, but she rather liked the name. Her brother being named Spiderleap for his long legs and his powerful leap. During time, both of her parents past away due to their old age. But at the age of twenty moons, Spiderleap vanish. Many rumours were told, some said he had been taken by a fox, while others said he left to become a rouge. But no one knows the true story, Skywish was led to believe he was dead. But deep down inside she still believes he out there. One moon after becoming a apprentice Lionpaw found out his mother was expecting a second litter of kits. One day during training he accidently unsheathed his claws and scratched his mentor behind the ear, outraged Yewstrike punished Lionpaw. Yewstrike beat Lionpaw, leaving him bruised and a that started above his left eye and went down to his cheek, he was lucky to not be blinded in his left eye. Though the scar remains now. Three moons later his mother gave birth to a litter of two, Firekit and Birchkit. His younger brother and sister.
Throughout the rest of his training he grew closer to his brother Greypaw and the two would often go play. Excluding there sister Amberpaw who had no one to play with, so she'd go care for her two younger siblings. When the time came they all received their warrior named. Amberpaw began Ambergaze, Greypaw became Greytail and Lionpaw became Lionfang. His younger siblings also became apprentices. Firepaw and Birchpaw. About ten moons later he discovers his mother is expecting kits once again, but she is grown old, and he is worried about her health. The birth goes terribly wrong, Gingerstep looses too much blood and sadly died later that day after giving birth to a single kit. Smokeclaw ignored the kit's cries, and it obviously seemed he didn't want the kit in his life. But Lionfang and his siblings didn't abandon the kit, they named her Brightkit, in honour of her bright coloured pelt. Though she was nursed by another queen the job to care for Brightkit was spread out among them, but the coming days towards her apprentice ceremony Lionfang slipped away from his sister. Keeping away from his other sibling, and only mumbling a few words. Brightkit then became Brightpaw, that's when Lionfang basically slipped away completely.
During the cold, harsh leaf-bare, Lionfang's two siblings Greytail and Birchfeather both caught a bad case of black-cough and there being no catmint left, both past away. Smokeclaw, Lionfang and the remaining siblings mourned their deaths, especially Lionfang who had a close bond to Greytail. Struck with grief Lionfang avoided his other siblings and faded into the shadows. Half a moon later Ambergaze went hunting with a few other warriors and had been attacked by a lone fox looking for a easy meal, the hunting patrol brought back Ambergaze's body, torn and shredded. Lionfang and his two siblings mourned her death, and Lionfang began to notice how much this had really hurt Brightpaw and he constantly watched her as Firepelt attempted to comfort her. Firepelt also sadly died, Firepelt had taken his weakened father out into the forest for fresh air and a drink, but he slipped on one of the large rocks beside the river and his head smashed onto a sharp corner, killing him instantly. Smokeclaw returned back to camp with his dead son. Once again, another vigil was held. Within two moons four of Lionfang's five siblings had died. Lionfang watched from the sidelines as his father, clouded by anger blamed Brightpaw for all the death's within the father, saying is she had never been born none of this would have happened. Lionfang had heard enough of his father and came to Brightpaw's aid, telling his father life goes on and nothing could be changed. Smokeclaw reluctantly backed down and went back to the elders den. One moon ago Smokeclaw died in his sleep from old age. Since them Lionfang has been trying to improve the bond with his sister, and has grown very protective over her. Brightpaw is a outgoing and confident she-cat, she is always up and ready to get going. She is full of energy and spirit, making her a little difficult to handle. At times she can be stubborn, and doesn't follow direct orders, she seems to do things her own way, at her own pace. Brightpaw is bubbly and is always trying to lighten the mood, she is quite cheerful and very enthusiastic about many things, even if they are just small tasks. She has a great sense of humour and is known to get into trouble quite easily. Brightpaw may seem a little odd, always cheerful but this is just who she is, the outgoing and confident she-cat everyone loves and adores.

Brightkit was the last kit born to Gingerstep, as a terrible accident happened during the birthing of Brightkit. The birthing all went wrong and she had lost too much blood and sadly died later that day after giving birth to Brightkit. Smokeclaw was terrible upset and ignored the cries of the kit. Smokeclaw may have ignored his own kit, but Brightkit's older siblings adored the young she-cat and took care of her. Naming her bright kit for her bright coloured pelt, though another queen fed Brightkit, the siblings took turns in caring for her. Brightkit grew a close bond to her older siblings, though she easily would pick to spend time with her eldest sister Ambergaze. She was a sweet and considerate cat and Brightkit enjoyed being around her the most, but she would never leave out her other siblings. As her apprentice ceremony neared Brightkit began to notice that one of her brother's was slipping away, Lionfang often separated himself from his siblings and her, also when it was his turn to look after her, he barely said anything, only making simple comments.
Brightkit became Brightpaw and her mentor was a young warrior named Thistlepelt, who was determined to show the clan what a great warrior he was. He was kind, and confident just like she was. Which made them the perfect mentor and apprentice. During the cold, harsh leaf-bare, her two siblings Greytail and Birchfeather both caught a bad case of black-cough and there being no catmint left, both past away. Smokeclaw and the remaining siblings mourned their deaths, especially Lionfang who had a close bond to his brother Greytail. Struck with grief he avoided his other siblings and faded into the shadows. Ambergaze comforted Brightpaw during this tough time, telling her life would go on, and it did. But not in a good way. Half a moon later Ambergaze had gone hunting with a few other warriors and had been attacked by a lone fox looking for a easy meal, the hunting patrol brought back Ambergaze's body, torn and shredded. Brightpaw mourned her sister's death, Firepelt attempted many times to comfort his younger sister but she would often tell him to go away. Sadly, that's what happened. Firepelt had taken his weakened father out into the forest for fresh air and a drink, but he slipped on one of the large rocks beside the river and his head smashed onto a sharp corner, killing him instantly. Smokeclaw returned back to camp with his dead son. Once again, another vigil was held. Within two moons four of Brightpaw's five siblings had died. Smokeclaw, clouded by anger blamed Brightpaw for all the death's within his family, saying if she had never been born none of this would of happened. Surprisingly Lionfang came to Brightpaw's aid, telling his father life goes on and nothing could be changed. Smokeclaw reluctantly backed down and went back to the elders den. One moon ago Smokeclaw died in his sleep from old age. Brightpaw eventually began to grow close to her distant brother, and he is now very protective over her.

Brightpaw is basically the average size for a she-cat her age, she has a strong, lean body. With long, powerful legs. Brightpaw has medium length fur which is quite thick, but it things out quite a bit during the warmer seasons, the base colour being a white. The top half of her body is a bright ginger colour, her muzzle, chest and legs are all white. Her white fur also continues around her neck, making it look like she has some sort of 'scarf' on. Brightpaw has light brown eyes and no scars.
