bellpaw felt the breeze snaking through her fur and ruffling her pelt. she breathed in the scent of forest that she would be leaving. she could faintly remember her mother, and she hoped she would be seeing her mother soon

Fern yawned, her grey fur messier then ever. Her son, Robin was siting right next to her. "Sleep Robin, the cats will come soon, like what the tribe said." She mewed in a old voice. Robin clicked his ear and stared at her for a long time. Then finally replied. "The tribe isn't here now." He growled at his mother. Fern rolled her eyes. "Robin, I promise you the cats will come." She promised. "Rest my sweet, you've been up all night." Robin sighed. "Mother I don't need rest." Fern stood up. "Robin if you don't rest it'll make you more grumpy." She stared at her son. "Mother..." There was a long pause. "Fine i'll rest." He lay down and curled up by his mother. Fern licked her son's forehead like she used to do when he was a kit. "Goodnight Robin." She whispered and curled up by her son. Meanwhile, Lynxtail took a final look at his clan. He took his final look around the territory. He sighed, he felt like he was going to burst into tears. Insted he shook his head and sighed. He sniffed and padded back to Snowflame. "I'll go hunting, for a little bit." He mewed and padded off.

"Be careful!" Snowflame called. She padded forward, more slowly so they weren't to far a head when he returned. She kept her head down, scenting for danger.

Lynxtail turned and nodded. "I will." He mewed and sniffed. He turned into a hunters crouch and stalked foreward. He grinned and pounced on a mouse. The mouse squirmed in his paws then fell limp in his paws. He padded around to find more.

Snowflame was hungry. She ran silently through the bushes. "Hey, Lynxtail, wait up! I'm coming to!" she called. She stoped when she caught sight of him.

Lynxtail jumped and turned. "Okay." He sniffed and looked around. He spotted a plump chipmunk. He grinned and turned into a hunters crouch and stalked the chipmunk. He pounced on chipmunk. The chipmunk couldn't get away. Lynxtail picked up the chipmunk and smiled.
