Kyla wanted to squeal when he winked at her. She was Actually Beeing flirted with!
She was so happy and bubbly that her mind acted what it thought

She stepped a bit closer to him, raising her head so that they were muzzle to muzzle.
"Well...I'm one tough cookie."

She said, throwing a wink of her own his way

[Ardelis]

Thayer-
Thayer gently nuzzled her as she lent in to him. He could feel her warmth on his skin. She was so darling, and she seemed so fun! He chuckled at her last words. "Well I certainly don't doubt your toughness. Though I bet you're as sweet as honey too," he siddled up next to her his shoulder pressing up against hers. He was hoping for a good day but this was far above and beyond. She was just so pretty.

Kyla

When he nuzzled her, she nearly exploded. She hadn't even realized that she had just winked at him.
She really liked this guy.
She gazed back at him and nuzzled his cheek softly,

"Best of both worlds eh?"
She said cheekly, Sticking her tongue out and winking at him.
Their fun was ended by the suden pounding of hooves.

Dexter emmerged from the brush..
"Kyla! Miss Kyla come quick More Stallions have come!"

Kyla pinned her ears and spun around to meet Dexter's eyes.
Nearly hitting Thayer in the face with her butt, which was not right under his muzzle, she was too annoyed to notice.
"Dammit Dexter! Why isn't Ravenna on top of this?!"

Dexter was flustered.
"Ravenna got scared and told me to get you."

Kyla looked down in frustration with a troubled look on her face.
"Dexter, go back and help them, I'll be there, Keep Ravenna safe At all costs!"
He nodded and galloped back.

She still looked down. She had used every trick in the book to get them off their trail, but she didn't know what to do now.
She panicked.

She didn't look up at Thayer afraid that she looked too unhealthily scared.
She was genuinely scared for her herd..

Thayer-
Thayer couldn't help but chuckle at the ease of interaction with this mare. The one thing that had caugh him off gaurd was the fact that she didn't seem at all full of herself. This was somthing fairly new to him, especially since she was a lead mare. He Shrugged off the unusual feeling and smiled as she stuck her tongue out at him.

Suddenly another stallion came bursting through the brush, a dapple paint stood before them. Thayer had to whip his head up a bit so Kyla didn't knock him over. He listened intently as she spoke with Dexter about the band of colts. He'd known this band had been in the area. It was hard to miss the signs that they left all over the marshes and brush. They were unruly and carefree, which could be quite the dangerous combination. Thayer knew if he wanted to keep a low profile and stay relatively peacefully in the area he'd have to help do something about this band. He gave a little snort and stepped forward next to Kyla, "I'd be happy to lend a hoof and help you chase off these colts. They're just a big a pain to me as they are you, and this territory won't be peaceful to anyone with them around." He looked from Kyla to Dexter, trying to figure out the new stallion. Measure him up to see how well they'd fair tousling with the young band. Being slightly taller than himself, and just as broad Thayer figured they'd do alright as long as he had a head for fighting.

Kelpies Personality: Vanity is a sweet outgoing girl, he loves to hang around other Kelpies alike her. She gets along pretty easily with others but some obnoxious Kelpies that get on her nerves she will stay from. She's pretty normal but she does have a habit of snorting often. She's adventurous and loves exploring the swamps with her pals. Some of the others would often ask if she ever harmed or eaten a human, most wold assume yes as she has the superior attitude in being strong and brave but no, mostly because the only human who had crossed her pathways some lost young one. She claims that she will kill but it hasn't happened yet.

Herd rank: Loner, but she was born into it and interested in the herd so it may change.

Vanity trotted around the swamp seeking something to do or meet someone her Hobbes made the sloshing sound as she trotted in the humid marsh. She hoped to see that one handsome stallion she had spotted much earlier, that would make my day for sure, the mare thought. She whipped her head around, tossing her mane on to the other side of her neck as she heard a branch snap, she looked to see a doe struggling in the marsh. She snorted then looked around to make sure nobody was watching, she sensed just her and the speckled doe. So she walked over to help, the kelpie nudged it out of the marsh and watched it. Unstuck and it ran to its mother, it dipped it's head before running off. She snorted and began to graze on some moss.

Kyla
Kyla looked up at him with worried eyes,
"No, its fine, i have to do this myself, they'll take my sister."
She looked ahead again and trotted forward a bit.

She turned back to him
"It was lovely meeting you."
She said, smiling

" I don't know if I'll see you again.. But it was fun hanging with you."
she said, a broader smile on her face. Dexter waiting impatiently,
"Bye"
She said, flashing him a wink before galloping off.

Dexter
Dexter glared at this stallion in envy.
Dexter himself had been trying to catch Kyla's eye, But she never paid much attention.

Kyla was his dream girl, but this stallion was ruining his chances.
And the way she had barked at him didn't really make him feel close to her,

He stayed a bit after Kyla had darted towards the herd to stare at him.
To give that kind of glare that plainly stated,
Stay away from my girl.

Vanity


Vanity raised her head to hear more sloshing, alike hers, maybe it was that stallion she saw earlier. I sure hope so, she thought then trotted after the sound hoping it might be him, or even a herd to join, that would be great too, but seeing that stallion would be better in my eyes. She shook her mane, getting it how she likes it, pretty and all. The grey mare gracefully cantered on the drier land, so she wouldn't get her fur splattered with mud and swamp water. She felt over whelmed as she had the feeling that she was getting close, she spotted a stallion on his own and the handsome one chasing after a mare. She snorted and continued, she looked at the other stallion "Hey" she greeted then continued following the two.

[Ardelis]

Thayer-
Thayer nodded understanding her need to do this on her own. He had hoped to enjoy her company for longer but he knew this was only the beginning of their interactions. "I completely understand. I'm sure this won't be the last time we meet though." He beamed as Kyla gave him a parting wink, and chuckled as Dexter gave his intimidating show, it wasn't the first time he'd been told to stay away, nor would it be the last."It was a pleasure meeting you, both of you!"he called to them and turned to walk further into the marsh. Nodding at the mare as she charged past him, probably another member of the herd.
