personality :: Echo is timid and loving. He's not the most confident cat, but he will defend himself, and his loved-ones; at all costs. He's also quite patient, but his patience sometimes runs thin with stubborn cats. Echo Is also very imaginative, and will often be found daydreaming if left by himself.

history (optional) :: Echo was born into a rogue pack. His mother was one of the low ranking cats. She was treated like dirt, and so was Echo. He was never meant to be born, so they drove him out along with his mother. His mother abandoned him to join another rogue pack. She told him that he was a mistake, and he should be left alone or someone would get hurt. Those words rung through Echo's head for his whole life. He was a mistake, he knew he was, but he knew he could amount to something one day. He learned to live in the forest, by catching his own prey and staying away from danger. His daily routine was always the same, and he hated it. He wanted something new in his life. One day, he scented a lot of cats. All the different scents were overwhelming, but they all had almost the same scent; like they were a family. Echo longed to have a family like this, so he followed the scents. Here, he found many cats. He watched from the bushes as the cats lived their life, and Echo wanted nothing more than to be with them. After too many days of watching, he finally decided to greet them. He knew they might not like him, and they might want to drive him out, but he was willing to take the risk. If it meant that he could have a family, he'd do it.

She purred, she liked to make him smile. Just as much as she likes it when he makes her smile. "Yeah," she groaned. "What a mistake that was! Starclan knows how long I'll be up with a tummy ache." She laughed. She liked how close they were both physically and emotionally. As she thought more about it, she began to feel self-conscious. What was she doing this close? Friends aren't usually this tight-knit, especially on their first day. It felt right and wrong at the same time, and Frostpaw became so torn with her emotions. She remembered his limp. That's why, she thought. Nothing to worry about.
But deep down she knew that wasn't the case. That wasn't the case at all, and ignoring her thoughts and emotions was not the right answer. She knew, but she didn't embrace it lest she lose everything. Everything. All of her thoughts, all of her will to be a warrior someday, even her friendship with Flamepaw. The stakes were too high! The risk was too extraordinary! To lose Flamepaw... Too much. Just too much.
But then you're left with why. Why was it too much? What was she feeling?! Love? Is this what love is? You lose your newest best friend because you're sucked deep into your emotions?

She glanced at him, his Amber eyes glimmered and his pelt shone like a Loreal commercial.
Never. Not in a million years. She didn't even like herself.

Flamepaw's whiskers twitched amusingly at her joke. He continued to press closer to Frostpaw, and it sent cold ripples through his spine. "So.. when do you think we'll get mentors?" He asked sheepishly, trying to get his mind off of her warm grey fur and her warm flowery scent. He realized that they hadn't really known where they were going, and were just mindlessly walking around camp. She really made him feel like there was nothing in the world to care about, besides her. Flamepaw sighed quietly at the thought. Of course there were other things to care about! Like his clan, and becoming a warrior. He needed to get his mind off of Frostpaw, but at the same time she was all he wanted to think about. He loved to stare into her eyes, and feel her fur rustling against his. Right in that moment, he stopped denying it. Flamepaw knew they were meant for eachother, and nothing could stop that.

Echo stopped in his tracks. He was about to walk straight into the clan's territory, and he had no idea what to expect. He had only heard tales about clan-cats, and they'd always been scary stories of clan-cat's eating bones and destroying other cats. Echo shuddered at the thought. No, I have to do this. I can't just watch anymore. Echo hissed to himself. Okay.. this is it. Echo held his head high, and stepped foot in the clan's territory. He didn't know what would happen, but it excited him. He explored until he found a large clearing with many cats. This is it. I'm here. Echo's eyes widened as he gazed around the clearing. He walked up to one of the cat's he recognized- Wildstar, and introduced himself. "H-Hello, Wildstar. I am Echo- a loner. I have watched you and your clan for a long time, and I want to join. I am no threat." Echo asked hopefully, his tail between his legs and his head hung low. All the confidence he had earlier had suddenly vanished, and he felt like nothing more than a piece of fresh-kill.
