When Brightshine’s best friend Russetwing returned from the facility bearing kits, he was always there for her. They soon fell in love, and he raised the kits as his own. Sadly, Redkit died. Spiritstar announced him deputy after Icesky, and he soon became leader when she died at the claws of Thornstar in the great battle.
