Roleplays featuring animals or non-human fantasy creatures which are based on a book/movie/tv show (e.g. Warrior Cats, My Little Pony, Pokemon)

This roleplay is for owners of Whip Tail Equines, a species created by PauseOff, that is located
here. If you do not own one please do not post in this thread.
Secondly, this is supposed to be for those who are in Koru/Morris's herd rather than just for a gathering of lone equines, although I'm open to having up to three loners - at this time.
This herd is unlike any other living in the wilds that shelter Whip Tails. Like most, they are still led by a dominant stallion, travel together everywhere they go, and defend themselves against predators; however, not only does the lead stallion have four horns instead of two, but several times over the course of a year the herd is visited by a group of scientists. While this herd is by no means tame, they are more likely to allow the humans to walk among them - although they don't always tolerate physical touching - rather than simply flee. This is because the herd had been studied by the scientists over six years upon the discovery of the new breed of equine.
This is their story.

UsernameWTE NameWas born with the name Koru, but came to be called 2Double0 by humans and finally Morris (pronounced Maurice) - which means dark skinned; he mostly responds to Koru and Mo, though.
WTE AgeHe is nine years and nine months old.
GenderPersonalityKoru/Mo is a friendly, trusting stallion. While he does have his moments of wariness, for the most part, he is open and willing to trust in others. Despite others interested in his appearance, he doesn't care for it much; he is always worried that others - especially stallions - will loathe him simply because of his double set of horns. This has led him to spend half of his time in the company of a herd, the one the humans created, and half of his time wandering on his own. He is not one for open confrontation, although he is quite capable of defending himself or others - especially so for the latter. Because of his past experience with humans, Koru/Mo tolerates their presence, and sometimes accepts their interactions when with the herd.

wolfpuppies wrote:UsernameWTE NameIsra, which means "Night Journey"- fitting her just fine. She isn't too fond of nicknames, unless she approves of them before hand!
WTE AgeShe is five years of age.
GenderPersonality(From her original form)With her dark coat glowing faintly in the moonlight, this mare is definitely nocturnal. She is a quiet creature, her big eyes wide, glowing like jade in the darkness. She is rather shy around other Equines, and is very soft-spoken. She's a traveler, spending much of her time trekking over the jungle trails, climbing the short hills and cliff faces, as well as spending time on the banks of rivers, streams, and lakes. She is enchanted with tales of far-off places, and has quite a few stories of her own to share- she just needs to be coaxed into sharing them. She would love to one day see the sea, and raise foals of her own- she is especially fond of handsome, charismatic stallions that can spin great stories. This does make her seem naive in many ways, but she's got a good head on her shoulders, most of the time.
Added: Isra is an imaginative mare, with a free spirit. However, she, for the first time, is starting to settle into herd life. She is adamant that it is temporary if any Equine asks, but she does enjoy having companionship, and is coming out of her shell. She was drawn to the area by the scent of good food and the sound of interesting tales coming from Equine lips, and she decided to stay. She's wary of the humans, but also finds their strangeness fascinating, and loves to watch them- as long as they don't get too close. She also spends much of her time inventing stories about her herdmates, particularly the large, four-horned dominant leader of this strange herd.

Koru
The Stallion Humans Named Morris
With a soft snort to expel flies, a tall dark-coated stallion rose his head from the rich grasses below his hooves to survey the land around him. This particular morning found his herd grazing just beyond the tree line, enjoying a rare cloud-free day under the warm, golden rays of the sun. Birdsong echoed from the canopy, harmonizing well with the lazy chirps and buzzes from residential insects. Ears twitching, the stallion was pleased to hear such noises, knowing that when the forest was alive - no predator lurked nearby. Eyes the color of the sky surveyed the other equines that meandered around him - an oddball group of colors and patterns that were brought together because of the humans that came six years ago.
As the breeze picked up into a steady, caressing wind, Koru lifted his horned head. The gentle tugs along his mane and tufting was refreshing and somewhat invigorating. The sudden image of him racing across the open grassland beyond the sanctuary of the forest came to mind - tempting him to leave his duty as guardian and protector of the herd. With a toss of his head and a quick lash of his tail, Koru shook the thought from his head; when the herd was out in the open, he was needed even more than if they were in the protective embrace of the thick and sturdy forest. They were easier targets without the shelter of the maze of trunks and undergrowth - so his run would have to wait for another day. With a mental sigh, Koru bent his head and ripped up several shoots before raising his head once more to keep lookout for predators.
