If you havn't already been there, Read the intro to the Save the Wingless Butterfly Wolves topic before posting. You must be signed up there to RP here.

By the bulletin board, you notice a door with a sign that reads:
RPG Room
Rules
No Cussing or Bad Language
You MUST own a Wingless and be Signed up to RP
No Power Playing
Nothing Too Graphic, No 'It' Scenes, and Nothing Gory

You push the door open, and it reveals a small, but cozy room, filled with couches and beanbag chairs. There's soft carpet on the floor, and there's a table in the middle of the room with laptops on it. On a blue beanbag in the corner, there is a cute little puppy sleeping.
Image
There are some people sitting on chairs with laptops, and they exchange glances every once an a while. There are a few winglesses lying around, and some other pets as well. Some are looking over their owners' shoulders, watching the computer screens.
You cough a little, trying to attract attention, and the pup in the corner opens one eye. She doesn't seem too happy to be woken up from her nap, but she sloggs over, dragging her back feet.
"Hello, I'm Sammy, May I help you?" She says, rather unenthusiastically.
"I was just wondering what the purpose of this room is..." You say akwardly.
Sammy rolls her eyes. "People come in here to role-play on these laptops." She says, gesturing towards the table. "The website is locked on the computer, and you just type in the box and click 'Post' to do it. You use your wingless as a character. Now can I go back to sleep?"
You nod, feeling bad for waking her up. Sammy lumbers back to her bed, and flops down.

Posts are allowed now! Just make sure you're signed up in the first thread before you start RPing!

spygirl48 wrote:Heather stepped cautiously out of the woods. She stared in bewilderment at the metal forest in front of her. Humans and dogs walked around carelessly, talking to each other.
Why aren't they scared? She wondered, watching them fearlessly saunter in and out of huge metal structures. Heather had just emerged from her cocoon, and was extremely tentative; completely aware of her surroundings.
Should I be scared? She took another silent step out of the woods. Her tail swung nervously, And she walked further.
She had no time to run as a human came and picked her up, with a strange look on her face... Was it pity? Or was she just sorry for the poor wolf that she was about to be eaten?
Heather squirmed in the human's arms, though not making an effect. She was about the size of a small dog, larger than a dachshund or a chihuahua, but smaller than a border collie. Maybe the size of a sheltie. But she was fairly light, and didn't take much effort to lift.
She soon gave up struggling, and looked up at the human, sheer terror in her eyes. The smile melted off her face when she saw the Butterfly wolf's face, and she squatted down.
"Hey, It's alright little guy... I won't hurt you." She said softly, setting Heather down. She had started to realize the human didn't mean any harm, and didn't run, though it was against her will.
"I-I'm a girl..." She said shakily. "My name's Heather."
The human laughed. "Okay then, I'm Spygirl."
Heather cocked her head. "Where are we going?" She asked.
"Well you do know that most butterfly wolves have wings right?" Spygirl said.
Heather's head drooped a little. "Yes...?"
Spygirl patted her head. "It's okay, I was going to get you some wings!"
Heather's ears perked up. "You mean ones that I can fly with?" She asked.
"Mmm Hmm!" Spygirl said, nodding yes.
"Let's Go!!" Heather yelped, and bounced along in front of Spygirl.

Heather and Spygirl stopped in front of a big warehouse, covered in murals and art. Spygirl pushed open the door, and they walked in. Heather was amazed to see butterfly wolves just like her, with balloons and wings tied to them. They flew around the ceiling-less building effortlessly--Well most anyway, some were a little shaky.
"Wow!" Said heather, staring in amazement.
Spygirl smiled proudly. "I own this place!"
"Cool! When do I get wings??" She asked excitedly.
"I'm not sure... Are you up for a surgical procedure?"
Suddenly Heather wasn't so sure about wings. "H-Huh??" She stuttered.
"It's okay, you'll be asleep, and you won't feel a thing." Spygirl assured her.
"I'm still not sure about this whole getting cut open thing..."
"If you don't like the surgery option, we could always give you balloons!" Spygirl said.
Heather shook her head. "No, I really want wings... I guess the surgery is alright."
"Don't worry, I have the best veterinarians out there. They WON'T mess up."
Heather swallowed, and nodded.

In the operation room, the doctors were preparing for surgery, sterilizing needles and other supplies. There was the signature smell of... well, clean-- lysol, cleaning solution-- throughout the room.
Dr. Martinez opened the door, sticking her head out. "Is she ready?" She asked in a calm, soothing voice.
Spygirl nodded, and led Heather to the door, whispering encouragement in her ear before she bravely walked in. Her heart was beating a mile a minute as Dr. Martinez lifted her onto the table.
Spygirl had almost closed the door, when she noticed a doctor she had never seen before. "Who's that?" She asked, looking suspiciously at Dr. Martinez.
"He's a trainee. He's just observing for now, don't worry." She assured.
Spygirl nodded. "Good luck!" She smiled, and shut the door.
As Dr. Martinez put the mask on Heather's face, she noticed the observer leaning against a counter. She only caught a glimpse of his face before she started to get loopy, but she could've sworn he was smirking. And that was the last thing she saw before it all went dark.

Suddenly, Heather felt wind blowing her ears back. She pried her eyes open, and was temporarily blinded by sunlight. As the glare faded, she realized that she wasn't on the ground, she was gliding effortlessly over a lake. The view was amazing, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
She had an instant rush of happiness, and she felt at peace, when a large dark cloud came seemingly out of nowhere. Suddenly, she was engulfed in gray dust, and water droplets stung her eyes. She would have dropped several feet if she wasn't being supported by some invisible force, on account of a huge streak of lightning, barely a foot from her. She could feel the energy radiating from it, and her fur stood on end. It was only then that she realized she was plummeting towards the lake, at maximum speed, at least five hundred feet above ground level. There was no parachute, no wings, no balloons to keep her afloat. She did everything in her power to slow her descent, but to no avail.
At last, when she was less than 10 feet from the ground, everything vaporized, and again she was in an operating room.

It wasn't a relief though, to realize the sinister chuckle filling the room. When she was used to the bright lights, she glanced around, and saw Dr. Martinez and her assistants unconscious on the floor. She instantly tried to get to her feet, but she slipped on the smooth metal surface, and fell on her stomach.
"Aww, poor Heather. Stuck in an operating room, all alone with a mad scientist." Said the so called "Observer," Who was sneering evilly over her.

"What's up?" She asked.
Spygirl pointed to the floating butterfly wolf. "I've never seen her before, can you go see if she'd like to come in?"
Silena nodded, and took off to greet the wolf. "Hey!" She called. "Have you ever been to the 'Save the Wingless' foundation?"

The first thing Wingless could remember was struggling. Pushing and shoving against the inside of her cocoon, she quickly tired. She'd been in her cozy cocoon for a couple of weeks now, and she'd grown too big for it. While she rested, she could hear noises outside, muffled by the walls of her home.
"How are they coming, Wolf?"
"I'd say quite nicely, but that one... does it look like she has wings?"
Outside, I saw a shadow loom over my cocoon, blocking out what little light I had.
"N-no. Wolf, I don't think she does." Concern filled the soft, musical voice.
"Matti, go get me the Butterfly Wolf kit. It's next to their food."

By now, I was struggling again. Of course I had wings! I was a Butterfly Wolf! What was a Butterfly Wolf without any wings? Just a wolf. Out of sheer desperation, I grabbed the side ot the cocoon with my teeth and tugged. There was a soft rip and I fell out, onto a hard, warm surface. Instantly, a white, she-Butterfly Wolf rushed over to me and licked me clean. I was laying on a bed of straw, in a pen. There were other pens beyond this one, too. Then I realized I was surrounded by pups and foals and small rats.

A grey wolf ran up to a human sitting in the straw next to me. The human must be Wolf1212, and the wolf had a kit labeled:
"Butterfly Wolves:
Use For Emergencies When Hatching."

The wolf must be Matti, then. Probably a nick-name for something. Wolf was flipping through a small booklet she had picked out from the kit, and threw it back in frustration. "Nothing! We'll have to call the vet."
Wolf patted the white Butterfly Wolf's head, shooed the other little pets away, and walked back to her house in the distacnce.

~•~

The next day, Wolf put a collar and leash on me and led me into CS City. We walked past buildings and restraunts and finnaly arrived our destination, or so Wolf said. It was a large ware house, covered in art. I looked at tall the paintings and murals, until Wolf tugged on my collar. "Let's go, you need to be registered!"

We walked through the door, and I looked up at all the Butterfly Wolves. Some had balloons tied to them, others fake wings, and they could fly! I wagged my tail and looked at Wolf, who was busy talking to someone called Spygirl. After they had talked, Spygirl pointed to some papers and Wolf and I went over to read them. Wolf picked up a pen, scribbled some stuff down, and placed in a bin with pther papers that were filled out. Spygirl then told Wolf I'd need some wings, Wolf nodded and said, "I've got that covered," and we walked home.

Wolf fitted me with a pair of wings and sent a picture of me flying to Spygirl. I was accepted and registered as a Wingless Butterfly Wolf.

spygirl48 wrote:Heather yelped in fear, and pushed herself off the table, just missing the grasp of the mad scientist, as he called himself. She barely noticed the large white wings protruding from her back, with bandages around the bases, as she bolted for the door. She leaped for the handle, but it was locked, and wouldn't turn. She held back a whimper, and bravely turned to face the man. Her lips curled, showing her perfect white teeth, which were razor sharp. A low growl rose in her chest, engulfing the whimper. The fur on her neck stood up, and aggression took over her expression, suppressing fear.
The mad scientist grinned, and his hand emerged from behind his back, holding a huge syringe filled with green liquid. Heather's aggressive stature immediately vanished, and she yelped again. Suddenly she noticed a window behind her, and she spun. Without thinking, she beat her wings, and leaped out the window, shattering the glass. She let out a shrill whimper as pain shot through her body, and fell motionless on the road. Unfortunately, she had cleared the sidewalk, and landed on a busy intersection, and a semi was heading directly for her.

Wingless cocked her head. Was that shattering glass? Oh, well, probably not. She looped through the air under the warehouse's high ceiling, enjoying flight. Wolf had dropped her off this morning, needing to go into the city to pick up a few things and get some pets she traded for.
Flapping down to land, Wingless walked over to the blanket she slept on during the day in the warehouse. Flying sapped her energy quickly, but she could feel herself getting stronger by each day. She yawned and rested her head on her paws, drifting odd the sleep.

Note to self- Don't fly until your wings recover... She thought.
