History:yan was known as a very loved PTD, everywhere he went others naturally flocked to him. Some could say he had a perfect life, a fairy tale even. No one ever wanted bad for him and he never wanted bad for others. Loving friends and family kept his days filled with joy. And he may have even had a princess one day had it not been for a certain PTD known as Kyro. Kyro only had a red pearl, he wanted a black one, which Cyan had. Kyro believed that if a PTD had a black pearl, they should use it. This was something Cyan would not do. He did not want to bring back the dead, he wished for them to rest in peace, and everyone had respect for this except for Kyro. Kyro wanted Cyan to feel ashamed, he wanted him to hurt and be shunned by all. And he could think of no other way to do this then by using Cyan's own pearl against him. And so Kyro spent long nights devising the perfect plan to finally shun Cyan. And then one night, he finally got it. He would put it into effect, the next day.
The Next DayKyro bounded after Cyan as the Pearl Tailed Dragon happily loped through the trees.
"Hey Cyan!" Kyro called, his voice sounding quite friendly as he caught up to the white dragon. And the kind-hearted Cyan replied with his own friendly hello,
"Hello Kyro. How are you?" He asked, eyes gleaming with happiness and a genuine smile on his face.
"I'm not so well honestly Cyan. I wish to visit my grandfather at the Sacred Graves, although I don't believe I can do it alone. Would you mind accompanying me?" Kyro asked, doing his best to seem sincere in the request. And Cyan, the kindest of Pearl Tailed Dragons, believed dear Kyro. Cyan knew all about the Sacred Graves, it was an honored resting place for all deceased and honored Pearl Tailed Dragons. He himself had never been, until this day that is. He also knew it was against every single law not to raise the dead from those graves.
"Of course I will Kyro." He replied to the dragon. Kyro have a fake thank you and the two set off for the Sacred Graves. As they walked the conversation was kept casual, and then curiosity got the best of Cyan.
"So what is your grandfather honored for if you don't mind my asking?" Cyan asked, looking to Kyro. Immediately Kyro became worried, he had to pull through! Why had he not thought of something earlier! He racked his mind for something quickly, and said the first thing that came to mind.
"He saved many younglings from an evil Pearl Tailed Dragon." He said sheepishly, though if the true emotion showed one would have known that he was actually flustered. Cyan nodded his head, looking at his "friend".
"Your grandfather was brave." He told Kyro, who sadly nodded his head and continued on. Eventually they had reached the graveyard, and by this time night had already set in. Kyro slipped away from Cyan when he was looking at a delicate flower, disappearing into the dark. When Cyan noticed the Kyro was not present beisde him he looked around.
"Kyro? Where are you?" He called out, searching for the blue dragon. But Kyro was nowhere to be found, or at least in sight. In reality he was pacing just behind Cyan, waiting for the perfect moment. Minutes passed and it seemed Cyan was becoming fearful, standing with his legs closer, eyes wide, and glancing frantically.
Finally Kyro decided the timing was right. With a vicious snarl like sound he leapt from his hiding place as if ready to attack Cyan. In the sudden fear Cyan did something he had never done before, he raised the dead. Around him several honored dead rose from their grave.
"He rose the dead from the Sacred Graves!" Kyro shouted with all his might, as if appalled and shocked by it. Cyan looked from side to side frantically. He had done that! He had raised the honored dead! Within a few moments others had appeared, some shedding tears due to the fact that Cyan had raised a loved one. Others threw curses at him.
"No! Wait! Please!" Cyan pleaded though it was no use. His fur grew red with embarrassment as he seemed to shrink where he stood. Harsh words were thrown at him, evil words that should never be said to another. And dear Cyan could not find a single ear to listen. Looking at the crowd he saw a youngling looking at him with tear filled eyes.
"Wait..." He said quietly, but all too soon the youngling was blocked by older dragons. An elder dragon stared down at Cyan with cold eyes.
"For raising the sacred dead you shall carry the burden of your shame! No longer will your coat be white! You will no longer be pure! Your legs will be stained black to show all of your crime!" The elder proclaimed, and within minutes Cyan's legs had turned black. He hid them under himself, but it only worked for so long before others were trying to pull them out. Frantically Cyan stood and ran, getting away from the angry screams of the other dragons. After what felt like hours of running he collapsed on the ground and curled up, tucking himself under a tree. He couldn't believe it! He hadn't meant to! And dear Kyro would be pestered with questions about it! Cyan tucked his legs under his body and tucked his head in as a few tears slid from his eyes. He would be alone without friends.
The last image to cross his mind before he fell asleep was the sad eyes of that young Pearl Tailed Dragon.
