She gave him a laugh "Oh aren't you cute" she meowed to him, but then got more serious "you will scare all the prey out for miles with that noisy voice thought" she meowed to him with a smile. She then looked around them "so are you going to continue to hunt? maybe I could join you?" she asked him.

She walked slowly to the fresh-kill pile, silently so she could not wake up Lightkit, which was still sleeping at their nest. She was heavily pregnant and could give birth anytime soon, she didn't want to think about it, but it sure scared her a lot. Getting down she picked up a sparrow and started to eat it, enjoying the prey as it seemed to be freshly killed one.

She nodded to the Wrenpaw "alright then" she told her, turning toward the elder's den, but moved slowly so the other apprentice had time to bring the mice. She herself didn't know much about the elder, she was not really talked to her that much anyway.

He was confused at first after listening to what the older cat told to him "so why did Owlpaw got alone into the woods? both the medicine cats are in camp still? or so I think?" he murmured to him. He looked toward the medicine cat's den before turned back to the apprentice "nothing yet really, I just woke up..." he meowed to him.

"Oh. Yeah they're both in the medicine den," He then nervously chuckled "and Only Starclan knows what Owlpaw is up to."

"Did you have a nice rest though?" he meowed, changing the subject. He certainly wouldn't want to get his best friend in trouble.

"Sounds good!" He saw Larkpaw's attention drift away and took the opportunity to plan how he could impress his clanmate in training today, without showing him up of course.

Lark'paw grinned at his clanmate and raced off, waving his tail as an indication for Smoke'paw to follow. He put his head down and charged ahead, enjoying the feeling of the wind in his fur. Suddenly, he saw a flash of brown and felt a terrible pain in his head. He looked up and realized that he had just crashed headfirst into a rotting stump. Great. He got to his paws, trying not to seem weak in front of Smoke'paw. Still, he couldn't help but notice that he felt a bit dizzy. Oh well, I'm sure its nothing.

Wren'paw took a quick deep breath, then grabbed a few mice and trotted back to Hamster'paw. The two apprentices entered the elders den, the musky smell of soiled bedding and damp fur instantly assaulting their noses. Wren'paw dropped the mice and bravely met her grandmothers eyes. I may have been weak when I was a kit, but now I'm strong enough to face you head on, she told herself, trying as hard as she could to believe it.

Vole'snout sighed as his son ran off dimwittedly into the meadow, Smoke'paw bouncing along behind. Oh well, at least I don't have to do much, only watch them hunt. He sighed, then took off through the grass. He located Lark'paw and Smoke'paws scents and followed them stealthily, his brown fur fading away among the shadows. He heard the loud meows of the apprentices and rolled his eyes. Do they know anything about being sneaky while hunting? Vole'snout settled back on his haunches and watched Lark'paw pounce on a butterfly, missing it by a tail length. It was going to be a long day.

Viper'strike paused her grooming at the sound of someone entering her den. She looked up and, to her surprise, Wren'paw and a weak looking shecat were standing there. Viper'strikes mouth curved into a malicious smile. Finally, some entertainment.

He bounced behind his friend before he skidded to a halt, practically crashing into him. He looked up and had saw that he crashed into a stump but, had made a smooth, quick recovery. Smokepaw was impressed! He barely seemed phased! It made Smokepaw remember Owlpaw's early morning meeting with the ground.

'Maybe it runs in the family' he thought, fondly remembering Owlpaw's misstep.

By the time he snapped his attention back to Larkpaw, he was chasing a butterfly and it sure did look fun! He trotted over to join him.

Lark'paw batted at the huge orange butterfly, surprised when Smoke'paw came to join him. He glanced over to the other apprentice and smiled when he saw the look on Smoke'paws face. He just looks so happy, Lark'paw thought. And his grey fur looks so beautiful in the sunlight... Lark'paw felt an embarrrased warmth spreading all over his body. What was he thinking? He turned back to the butterfly, eager to distract himself from these... thoughts he kept having.

Vole'snout settled down in the long grass. This butterfly hunt might take a while. He watched the two apprentices play, feeling his eyelids droop. He yawned, and almost missed the most crucial moment of matchmaking EVER (Vole'snout took it upon himself to get members of the clan together, as it was a fun pastime and made clan meetings very entertaining). Lark'paw, his son, was STARING at Smoke'paw. He had that look on his face too! Vole'snout was wide awake now. Perfect. Now I have a real task to accomplish.

She waited patiently for Wrenpaw to get spómethign out of the pile to bring to the elder so they could eat something. She looked over the mice Wrenpaw brought with her, blad that she didn't take the best meals out there. She silently walked toward the elder's den to see that the elder was already up there, but there was something about her smile which little made her nervous, but of course, she didn't want to show it "Morning Viperstrike...we thought you're hungry so we bought you some prey to enjoy" she meowed.

Wren'paw shoved the mice towards Viper'strike with her paw. "Hope its tender enough," she meowed, being sure to show no emotion. Wren'paw could feel the must scent of the den seeping into her fur, and it took all of the self control she could muster not to bolt out the enterance. All I have to do is politely respond to her thanks and I'm free, she told herself. This will be a breeze.

Viper'strike glared at the shriveled mice Wren'paw had thrown to her. "This is all you get a poor, hungry, lonely elder? You could have at least brought my favorite!" Viper'strike stabbed a mouse with her claws and tossed it back to her granddaughter. "I require a better meal than two muddy scraps. Go, before I get angry."

Lightkit was visibly uncomfortable.. Oh why couldn't Cheetahpaw just be as charismatic and friendly as his brother? He couldn't even make proper conversation with someone only a little bit younger than him! He certainly didn't know how to fix this..
