They stood upon this icy tundra, and blessed it with life. This life formed into three clans: StormClan, who are as fierce and daring and bold as the storms they were named after; WaveClan, who are cool and free-spirited, yet can be as harsh as the seas they swim in; and IceClan, the most intelligent, noble and spiritual of all the clans.
While each clan has their differences, they all share one thing in common; soulmates.
Before the spirits departed and returned to the skies above, they past on one parting gift; the chance for everyone to be loved. StormClan believes that soulmates can only be romantic, while WaveClan believes that soulmates can be from family, friendship or romance, but not everyone has a soulmate. But we in IceClan believe that everyone has a soulmate, whether it be familial or friendly or romantic. It is impossible to say who is right, but on thing is certain; everyone deserves to be loved."
"But what happened to the spirits? Did they ever come back?"
"Unfortunately, no. The spirits never did come down to the earth again. However, the spirits still watch over us. Once in a while, if you look up into the night sky, you can see the spirits dancing across the sky in all their bright, beautiful colours. Among them are our ancestors, because once someone has passed on into the next life, they get to join the spirits in the sky, and live among their ranks in a fourth clan; StarClan."
"How will we find our soulmates?"
"There's no rush, everyone has a soulmate specially chosen for them even before they are born. Some can even have multiple soulmates. The spirits choose each soulmate, so when the time is right, you will meet them. And when you meet your soulmate, you'll just know that they were meant for you. Its destiny.
Right, that's enough storytelling for one night. Now back to the nursery with you kits, its far past your bedtime."

Challenge any trespassing cats ● xii: No cat can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from another clan ● xiii: The word of the clan leader is law ● xiv: An honourable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless it is necessary for self-defence ● xv: A cat may have soulmates in another clan, and they may wish to join that other clan to be with their soulmate. If they do join their soulmates clan, the cat shall be treated as one of that clans own kin ● xvi: A cat may not take a mate from another clan unless they are soulmates ● xvii: If a cat is soulmates and mates with a cat from another clan, the cats are allowed to have kits together. Two cats from different clans and are not soulmates, however, are forbidden from having kits ● xviii: A medicine cat may only take a mate and have kits but only after fully training an apprentice ● xix: No cat shall be discriminated against for who their soulmate is ● xx: Each clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the three. ☽ The Clans ☾

●| IceClan |● IceClan's territory spreads out across a barren sheet of ice that stretches out to the sea. Their territory sits in the middle, wedged between StormClan and WaveClan. While the territory may seem dull and lifeless, it holds many hidden beauties. The vastness of the space makes it a popular spot for travelling caribou and ox, and while they're intimidating, these gentle giants can be very friendly and watching them travel across the ice can be a wondrous site. Not to mention, with few trees the sky here is clear, leaving the most beautiful view of the stars at night and, from the mountains, the best view to watch the spirits dance across the skies in all their colours. Many tall, jagged mountains sit at one end of the IceClan territory, which the clan chose to make its home in. Small streams weave in and out of these mountains, caverns and trees scattered around the area. The mountains act as a sort of maze, making it nearly impossible to navigate their sharp turns and sudden drops, especially with no clearly marked paths. This comes to an advantage for IceClan, as this means their camp is well hidden. The camp itself is in a large cave, many crevices scattered across the walls. Each warrior has their own individual den inside one of these holes, while the nursery, elders den and medicine cat den sit in separate, slightly larger holes on the ground so their easier to access. The leaders den sits up in a crevice that leads out onto a ledge, High Rock, from which the leader will overlook the clan and make speeches and perform ceremonies. In a small cavern beneath High Rock, is the medicine cat den, its entrance covered by vines and moss. At one side of the main cave is a small waterfall that flows into a small pool. The prey-pile is next to this. The entrance to the camp leads out to a ledge, high enough to see the whole territory from its mountain view.
