Silvestar watched the group as he waited, and now and then glanced around camp to make sure nothing was suddenly on fire that needed his attention. When he noticed the others looking towards him, "There's no need to rush, it may be a long patrol but there's nothing wrong with a slow start." It would mean pretending that what he feared wasn't real for a little longer anyways.

"Excellent! Now what sort of talk are we having this fine morning? Certainly something interesting must be going on after all!" Jaggedfang had a rather toothy grin when he was happy, which was nearly all the time.

"I would hope our clanmates by now know to expect the unexpected. After all we do live in a place with fog monsters and cats who can summon massive forms of lightning. From what I hear, that's not exactly normal." Talonstrike joked in response, "And it's good for some to get a bit of a shock."

Hawkpaw followed along, listening as he went. "Well I'm already quick and can get into the air." That was true, getting up wasn't a problem for him, getting down was another thing. He tended to more crash at high speeds than anything else. Plus there was the time he tried to dive into prey like his namesake would and rolled into a thorny bush. He didn't like to bring that time up too much.

She looked over to the speaker, not so interested to speak with anyone at the moment, even if this tiredness she was feeling was pretty much her own fault, so it was pointless for her to be angry at others because of it. She flicked her tail lightly "Morning Flamepaw, yes I am tired, I didn't really get any sleep last night, but another way I am fine" she meowed to him "I will go to back to get some rest after my training is done, it's the most important thing for an apprentice anyway" she keeps meowing her eyes landing to her mentor there.

She flicked her ears over to Silverstar, not really saying anything to him, but a sight escaped to her mouth 'no rush, but still, I hope we could start moving soon' she thought herself. She looked over as Fawnstream, Salmonpaw, and even Charmshard, which she was unsure if the warrior were joining the or not, but either way, it didn't mind her at all.

He nods "I guess so, but I think too that cats do want to feel safe or protected inside the camp when all those nasty fog creatures are stalking us outside and other creatures too" he meowed. A smirk comes to his face then "Other way that statue of you can be an excellent camp guard, I am nobody knows if don't know your skills could not even think that you're a living cat" he laughed "Do you think can fog creatures be shocked?" he meowed.

Creamflower listens to Jaggedfang's question and shrugs, not really having much of a topic to talk about. "Nothing really interesting." she said honestly. "I'm sorry Jaggedfang. I wish there was something thought provoking to talk about but there isn't."

Carrying the heavy crowned eagle made his flight much more strenuous and clumsy, so the older warrior landed on a branch relatively high up to take a break. By now, the sun had fully risen, and the warrior knew patrols would be sent out. Perhaps he'd get lucky and slip in on time to join one. Although he had basically been out hunting for a few hours, Bristlefang felt restless. With everything happening, the last thing he wanted to do was sit on his paws in the middle of camp and let his mind wander. Absolute waste of time for an able-bodied warrior!

While the warrior sat ponder, his wings tucked tightly against his body, he noted Ravenfur was not far from him, finishing off a kill in the undergrowth. The ornery warrior flicked his tail as he briefly observed - even though the yellow-eyed tom beneath him was a newly-minted warrior and quite the silent one - as a result, Bristlefang knew noting about him - the older warrior could appreciate the fact that he was actually doing something useful rather so than sitting on his tail in camp. Just as Bristlefang was about to lift off, the unfamiliar scent of another feline drifted briefly over his nostrils. Immediately Bristlefang felt the hairs on his scruff stiffen, and his wings began to spread out slightly. It was hard to tell what direction the scent came from, but it was definitely fresh. "Ravenfur," Bristlefang mewed low, trying not to startle the shy tom, "do you smell that?"

A few heartbeats after the words left Flamepaw's muzzle, the older apprentice in question turned and gazed at with visible fatigue and barely veiled disinterested. As dark blue eyes met light blue, it was apparent Milkpaw did not want to be interacting with another individual. Yet, Flamepaw's concern for her fellow clanmate overtook her, and the disinterest and obvious signs of 'leave me alone' went unnoticed. As expected of one fatigued, it took a second for the older apprentice to reply, her agitation being made once more as she flicked her tail wearily. "Morning Flamepaw, yes I am tired, I didn't really get any sleep last night, but another way I am fine. I will go to back to get some rest after my training is done, it's the most important thing for an apprentice anyway." By the time her sentence was finished, Milkpaw's gaze was elsewhere, and yet Flamepaw's attention remained trained on her clanmate.

Guess I am not the only one getting used to waking up early in the morning! That came as a relief to the Blazepaw, and the young apprentice breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, that's stinks! It's hard enough to keep up with regular warrior training plus our abilities, but doing so already tired is gonna make things really hard. Maybe you should talk to your mentor about having an easy day! Training is super important, but if your really tired, maybe you should rest," Flamepaw mewed, worry evident in her tone as she sat next to Milkpaw, unaware that her fellow molly had fixated her attention on her mentor. "So many bad things can happen when your tired. Yeah, training is important, but so is getting good sleep. And with monsterous fog creatures lurking about...." Flamepaw ended her rambling and shuddered, before mewing, ".. you have to be at your best. Rather safe than sorry! Do you know what your working on today?" oblivious to the fact that she was talking her clanmates' ear off, Flamepaw beamed at Milkpaw sitting beside her, already feeling more awake having talked to a clanmate.
