He never again wanted a fire so big or s
o strong to rule the forest, so he came to a loner in a dream. He said to the loner (whose name was Smoke), "You must go to the forest. There, you will start a new life, and a new Clan. Gather other cats and get them to follow you. You will be known as Smokestar, and you will be the founder of SmokeClan." The starry cat hoped with more cats in the forest, fire would be kept away. He was wrong, and soon another fire will strike, bigger, stronger, scarier and more deadly than ever before... ❞

It was dawn, and she needed to remind Wolfstorm to organize a patrol.
She spied her plucking a mouse from the fresh-kill pile.
"Wolfstorm?" she called, "Would you mind a word?"
Wolfstorm padded over and Ashstar said,
"Don't forget, you still need to set up the dawn patrol!"
Then she padded away.

Mouseberry's dull yellow eyes slowly blinked open. The morning light had begun to creep in through the den's entrance. A large yawn escaped her mouth, causing her jaws to open wide and eyes to water. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed her apprentice, Spiderpaw was still asleep. No need to wake the young tom up just yet. The calico she-cat rose to her paws. She stretched her front legs, attempting to fix her stiff muscles. The she-cat padded out of her den, her eyes immediately locking on to the fresh-kill pile.

Russetcloud's paw jerked in his sleep, causing him to awaken. His dreams were filled with running through open fields. That is, until he tripped and fell, causing him to awaken. The russet colored tom quickly arose to his paws and padded out of his nest. He didn't want to hang around inside of the warrior's den and wake the others. At least if he sat in camp he could wait for his apprentice to wake up.

Ashstar sat near her den and watched the clan wake
up one by one.
She was worried, though she wasn't exactly sure
why. Her eyes closed involuntarily, her jaws parted in an enormous
yawn. She creeped into her den for a little more sleep.

the young tom woke a few moments after his mentor left the den, the breeze ruffling his pelt and waking him. he yawned softly, shaking his head so that a rogue piece of moss could fall back into his bed. he was soon on his paws, his young bones having little to no issue as he moved to step outside the medicine den and into the camp.

lilacpaw was always an early riser. in fact, a day hadn't gone by where she wasnt the first one up, waking breezepaw and cinderpaw, the only other apprentices that she shared the apprentice den with. "wake up, wake up! you're going to waste the day away if you don't!" briefly she shook each apprentice with her paws, before excitedly bounding out of the apprentice den in search of her mentor. "russetcloud!" she meowed with excitement, her small paws scurrying along until she was across camp, standing in front of her beloved mentor.
