Now that we have a leader for each Clan, we'll be startig soon! After I update the ranks in fact. If anyone has a kalon they would like to make deputy of any clan, i would much appreciate it! But remember, you may only have one kalon per clan who starts as a high rank (Leader, Deputy or Medicine Kal) ! All your others must earn their way into a high rank.

Dawn breaks over the eastern mountains, pale light washing over first the rocky slopes CloudClan called home, then the forest and fields that made up the valley. With newleaf in full-swing, the birds woke early, singing their dawn chorus.

Deep in the trees, the leader of ShineClan awoke, shaking out his short fur and stepping out of his den- a cave in the short limestone cliff that made the northern wall of their camp. He stretched his wings before sitting down, watching as his clanmates awoke with his tail over his paws.

Brown and white paws stirred as Blazeheart was awoken from his dreaming by the sunlight trickling into LightClan's camp. The young warrior stretched and yawned, padding out to the main clearing to start his day. He noted that the berry pile was lacking, and decided that he would ask Adderjaw if he could lead a gathering patrol once the rest of the camp was awake.

Sunlight did not reach the deep caves of CloudClan, but Batfang's internal clock was on-point anyway. He blinked open his eyes, keeping his halo dim so as not to disturb his clanmates. He stepped out of the warriors cave and into the main cavern, waiting his turn as the deputy assigned duties, one by one.

Nettlestorm watched the sun rise lazily, dew soaked into her fur. Nettlestorm never slept well, and was usually up before sunrise. She didn't especially mind her lack of sleep, enjoying having some time to herself before everyone started yammering. She stretched the cold out of her legs, then padded back inside to reorganize the herbs. She nodded to Batfang as she passed.

Sagepaw began waking up from the noise of others moving about, but grumbled and burrowed himself further into his nest. He was not a morning person and didn't understand how anyone else was awake at this hour.

Poppytail sat in the medicine kal den, groggily watching others pass. She had gotten herself stuck in some bramble the day before like some apprentice on their first day out. She had been patched up and told she was fine to leave in the morning, but the nests in the medicine kal den were so much more comfortable...

Adderjaw was silently walking around camp, checking that the grove of trees around camp didn't have any obvious holes in it. For once, the apprentices had actually done a good job at repairs. Not like Adderjaw was in anyway going to tell them this. Seeing Blazeheart wake, he gently padded over to the floppy eared kal.
"Morning Blazeheart." Adderjaw greeted politely but without enthusiasm.

Always having been a morning bird, Pinefur had stirred much earlier, hoping to rise in time to catch a glimpse of the sunrise. Luckily he had been able to see it, smiling warmly as it rose above the sleepy camp. Oh, how beautiful it was..! Swishing his tail gently back and forth, he waited patiently for the other Kalons in the camp to stir, eager to be assigned some sort of work or join in some conversation. He noticed Blazeheart and Adderjaw chatting, but not wanting to interrupt their conversation instead gave a quiet chirp of a, "good morning!"

Shallowpaw had slept in much later than the rest of the camp, only waking when she wished or when someone else forced her to. It had been a long time since she'd joined the camp, gently coaxed in by the nervous Pinefur and taken care of. The warrior was like a mother to her, but Shallowpaw would die before letting anyone in the camp hear that from her mouth. Stretching, she shook out her wild mane of hair, stretching each leg in turn before yawning and sitting down again. She needed a challenge, and hoped that today would be the day it would happen.
