Making the Ends Meet
Did you see the red mist block your path?
Did the scissors cut a way at your heart?
Did you feel the envy for the sons of mothers tearing you apart?
There is a world beyond our own in which creatures speak and show emotion. Emotions encasing the humanoid spectrum. A world full of creatures of all sorts, spiders, wolves, horses and many others, that look so much like our own. Yet unlike our own. These beasts are have been showered with colors that also encase the humanoid spectrum. They also have their own customs that basically vary from beast to beast.
Also similar to the world you are currently on, these inhabitants have a society and language. Within the society there are jobs ranging from governmental to business to social and even down to homeless. Sure, it isn't an occupation, but it's worth mentioning. This world goes through the same struggles as our own. They have poverty and wars.
What this world is going through right now though, is corruption; a corruption in the government or, "Rejtok".
Due to this corruption, most inhabitants of the world they call home, are now starving and homeless, something that used to be rare. The few that manage to live somewhere and buy food though, are far from the threat of death. The grim reaper seems to be hiding behind every corner on this poor world nowadays.
Hope is a frail thought, and more often then not, laughed at. All the heroes on the planet have been struck down in their glory days and taken by the "justice" system. This justice system is the thing that took away their voting and most of their food. Prices have risen to an all time high and most don't have the goods available to get food.
The only people with money anymore are the five within Rejtok.
The ones under them are the merchants and of course, the law. Inventors are next, if they can ever think of something worth while to present to the forever demanding Rejtok.
Everyone under them has simply learned to live a poor, hungry, unemployed life.. Except for the ones found with the strange abilities that is. They've been known to meet in places in secret. Somehow they all seem to know each other, whether it be by chance or by will.
This ability they have though, frightens everyone. It's no wonder all they have to talk to are each other. Most come from the families that are the worst off, yet they're feared by almost everyone around them. What's worst is the ones with this power act as if they don't know they have it. The only time they've been seen using it is when they've been pushed to far over the edge..
When they do get pushed over the edge, it's a fearful sight, indeed.
First a trinket found somewhere on their body pulses and sends out an aura. Then their eyes and feet seem to glow with a color and part of their bodies are covered in a certain element. Fire, earth, water, or wind. Will this odd power help them win the freedom their planet so rightly deserves, or will it be their doom?

-This a more chillaxed RP so I'll only 4 + sentences per post as opposed to 5 paragraphs.
-I'd like fancy posts, they don't have to be, but for some reason fancy posts make me wanna read 'em more. ;>.>
-One character with a power per person please, no more.
-No power-playing. Period. Even if you do have a character with the power. Though they do have powers, they do also have weaknesses.
-Try to vary with trinkets, and types of characters. Not all characters have to be CS wolves.
-Only one aura color for the powered, they don't change.
The trinket is the color of the aura.
-No spamming.
-Even genders would be nice, though it isn't exactly necessary.
-Try to include EVERYONE in this RP. I hate being that oddball out in an RP. X_X
-The four elements only act as ARMOR and occasionally offensive stuff. Rarely though.
-The "theme-song" for this RP is: Arriving Somewhere But Not Here - Porcupine Tree.. Heehee. :3
-There will be five in the Rejtok and however many of whatever else. You know. Chillax, yea?
