Lead stallion: The highest rank in the herd. The leader watches for danger, puts his life at risk if need be for the herd, he serves the herd with his loyalty and leadership. He is mate to the lead mare. His other job is to keep the stallions in their place, making sure there are no fights, and no force mating.
Lead Mare: The mare has a lesser job than the lead stallion. She watches the nursing mares and their offspring and stays with them half the time, in case they need help getting up a larger hill or they simply need a higher rank to help stop the herd.
Gatherers: Gatherers are like the meal servers. Sure there's plenty of grass, but surely the grass will begin to thin out (no more) and it is their job to find shelter, water and new places to graze or berry bushes to eat.
Grazers: Grazers are the Itrags that really have no important role than to live life, protect the herd and to keep an eye on the Nursing and offspring
Nursing: Nursing are the mares that are either pregnant, or have had a foal recently, in which case, they are in no shape to work.
Offspring: Baby Itrags!
