Phoenix and Miles are in their thirties or forties. They are dating, but they’re still kind of awkward and nervous/shy with each other. Miles has Pess and her pup Riyu. They are living together (?), which works out because they’re dating anyway. Also, Fran and Maya are together. Trucy is Phoenix’s adopted daughter, and basically like that to Miles as well. She and Pearl are basically like cousins. Trucy and Pearl will be super close friends after Pearl eventually gets enrolled in school.

Headcannon: Trucy calls Miles papa the exact day she knows those two are dating.

Phoenix Wright had woken up early on a Monday, next to his beloved boyfriend Miles. The sunlight peeking through the blinds was extra annoying this morning. He probably woke up early because he was stressed about a case. Tilting his head he found Pess the Borzoi staring at him. "No, it's not time to go out." Phoenix whispered. He still had about thirty more minutes before their alarm went off, and he planned on savoring this moment. Miles had one arm around Phoenix and he certainly wasn't going to interrupt that. Maybe he could go back to bed... but stress was eating away at him.

Miles made a couple small sounds in his sleep, the way any human might. It was known for a fact that humans made noise even as they slept. He scrunched up his face a bit…However, his expression soon smoothed out again, and he let out a sigh. He then moved around a bit, as if sensing the dog was there. The pup had followed her, but she soon showed him out. Though then went back to staring at the bed…and the two men. Miles twitched in his sleep a couple times…then sighed and opened his eyes.

No matter how many weird things Miles did in his sleep Phoenix still found all his actions quite adorable. He sighed softly as he saw Miles open his eyes. Now that they were both awake he turned off the alarm, so it wouldn't be jarring for them several minutes later. "Hey..." he cooed softly at his boyfriend, gently pushing his messy, unstyled bangs out of his face. "I guess we're both up a little early, huh?"

Miles sighed and stretched out a bit, then opened his eyes fully. Shaking his head a couple times, and glancing to the dogs a moment. He smiled as he looked at them. He then looked to his boyfriend, and nodded as he looked at the other man. He said “Hello…” then yawned and sighed again, shaking his head. He smiled once more, however, as Riyu yipped at him. He then turned his attention back to Phoenix. Nodding as he said “Yeah…we’re both up early, so I guess we should go get breakfast.”

"That's the opposite of what I was thinking, you don't want to try and sleep again?" He whined. Honestly he was really not ready to start the day. Phoenix was just too nervous and would rather just fall asleep instead of preparing for the day. "You do have a point..." he mumbled softly. The dogs also probably wouldn't let them sleep any longer.

Miles sighed and shook his head as he looked at the other man. “no…since there’s no way I’ll be able to actually go back to sleep now.” He also needed to take the dogs out. They could eat later, at their normal time of nine o clock, but they needed to go out now. At least, the puppy did anyway. Miles got out of the bed, and went over to the pup.

Phoenix groaned but then got up. He wasn't that old but certainly felt old in the morning. "Let me walk with you, babe." He offered. Usually Phoenix would rather just sleep late or start getting ready but he'd prefer to walk the dogs with Miles, keeping his mind off of work.

Miles blushed a bit when the other called him that. He nodded and said “Okay…babe,” as they kind of just used the same word for each other. He went and got the leashes and harness. Pess didn’t pull but Riyu was still learning, so he tended to pull and that’s why he had a harness.
