Luke set her down with them. The Social worker asked if they could give her time alone with the family. Luke nodded and took his fiance’S hand and went to their room. Tess watched them go. She was clearly not happy.

Jaxon went to their bedroom and looked at Luke, "Are you okay?" he aked him softly, he knew this was really hard on him.

“Yeah. I am fine. Is it bad that I don’t want things to work out?” He asked him. “I just want her with us...” he added. “We will have to see.” He said.

"Not at all, but it isn't up to us Luke." he said as he looked at him, he hugged him tightly "I'm so sorry." he said with a sigh, nuzzling his cheek.

Luke hugged him. He nodded. “I know it’s not up to us. But it is up to her.” He said holding him. “If she doesn’t like them then...” he said. He stayed close to his fiancé. “It will be okay. No matter what happens.” He said.

"I know." he murmured as he stood with Luke and kissed him softly, "I love you, no matter what happens.' he said softly, "You are stuck with me."

“I love you too.” He said. “You are stuck with me too.” He said and kissed him. “You are such a good guy.” He said. He looked over as Tess ran in crying. He picked her up not sure what was wrong. “What’s wrong?” He asked.

"What happened sweetie?" Jaxon asked worriedly, he headed out to the living troom to see what had happened to upset Tess so much.

“I-I wanna stay here!” She sobbed. Luke frowned and carried her out of their room after his fiancé. The social worker sighed when she saw them. The family was in the kitchen discussing. “The family wants to adopt her still but if she is not happy with them...” she said.

Jaxon sighed softly, "Clearly she isn't very happy..." he said as he looked at the social worker worriedly, he didn't like how upset Tess was, it hurt.
