I was checking our Clan borders, because I didn't trust the males who patrolled it.Hmm, nothing. It's super quiet right now, and my ears are twitching in the direction of each sound, if there any. Well, except the birds, they are just singing. Let's see the bushes. Hmm, no. No, no no. No one.Good, now I can- I heard moving behind me. I swiftly turned around, a scent of a female is brushing into my nose. There is a female loner! I can scent her, but I can't see her anywhere. My tail was slashing through the air like crazy.

panther was trespassing in a clan's territory as she searched for freshkill. she picked up the scent of a squirrel and followed it. she snuck through the underbrush as she heard cats getting close to her. she tried to get downwind, but it was too late. a tortoiseshell molly was a whisker length in front of her, and she could see the alertness in her eyes as her tail lashed through the air.

"Come out!" I yowled, looking around carefully but fast."I know you are somewhere there, so don't even try to hide!"

panther emerged from the brush and stood tall. she looked at the cat in front of her. "my name is panther, i'm a loner looking for food." she introduced herself. "please disregard my presence..." she narrowed her eyes and hoped her plead worked. fighting a clan cat wasn't something she wanted to do.

"We don't tolerate the loner's presence on our borders. Now, if you wont leave, I will yowl for my cats to come and you will be in big trouble." I said sternly, looking at her. Well, not that sternly I say to the males.

"i will leave then." she said, turning around and crossing the border. she sat on the other side and started grooming herself mockingly. "now you can't call for any cats because i am not on your territory." she said as she used her paw to straighten her whiskers. her tail whisked around low to the ground in amusement.

panther narrowed her eyes at the cat. they were in separate worlds. "there are other squirrels in the forest." she said, standing up and turning around to leave the clan cat. she had better things to do. she would just return later when this stranger wasn't distracting her from catching dinner. as she trailed into the forest, she picked up the scent of a robin and followed it until she could see the plump bird pecking the ground at the base of a tree.
