(Alright cool, we can go with that then. I like them having desks and stuff in the room and it makes a lot of sense. I also really like the idea of them having the ability to change and customize their bed shades, makes the dorm feel a little more personal and homey if they have some ability to change it to their liking. The idea of having a touch screen is pretty cool, maybe it has their schedules and weather information programmed into it as well as being the controls for the reading lights and such? It could also be where the alarm/clock is located instead of it being a separate device?
Okay good, I was hoping that would be an okay call to make haha (The only reason I could see him sharing was if he had a significant other, maybe?, but since he doesn't have one it isn't a problem we have to worry about) And yeah, I agree that the classes would probably be small enough for him to act as their mentor as well as an instructor. Sort of like a person you would go to if you have any questions or concerns as well as keeping an eye on them and making sure they are compatible and the rest of the stuff you pointed out. I think he should already be their mentor at this point, maybe not for very long but enough time for them to be somewhat comfortable with him? And I think I will have him doing fire arms training instead of martial arts because I really don't want to to try explaining that (At least with fire arms I at least have some knowledge of how it works haha)
As for classes, I think they would have probably have the basics like history, math, science and English as well as some other general classes added in if they are relevant to what they are training to become? They would definitely have the fitness/physics/military esque stuff but maybe most of that is built around what they are training to do, barring stuff like fire arms training, general physical training and anything else that they should all know?
That title works for me, I know very little about military rank so whatever works for me.
No worries haha, I burned through the season so let me know when you're done and we can figure out how this will work in the long term

Ollie Hobbs
Ollie barely glanced up when he heard the knocking on the door before dropping his head back down into his star maps. He already knew it was Rodger on the other side of the door, it wasn't going to be Parker after all and who else would knock before entering? Nope, Rodger was the only one and as he expected, Rodger's voice rang out in the room not moments later.
"Morning." He said, lifting his hand in greeting but keeping his eyes on his maps. The maps in front of him were far more interesting then conversation at the moment so he didn't make any attempt to start one and Rodger didn't seem interested in having one either. That was fine with Ollie for the moment, though he was sure his attention would waver from the maps soon enough.
He hummed when Rodger said he was going to have a shower, thankful for the heads up but not really needing it. They knew each others routine, giving him a heads up was sort of pointless but he appreciated the gesture for what it was. Even if it was just to be polite and nothing else.
Shaking his head, he refocused his attention but he could already feel it wavering to other things. Sighing, he glanced at the clock and decided he would try for a few more minutes before giving up for the morning, he could always do a bit more before bed tonight if his homework load didn't drown him first. Groaning at the very idea of being swamped with more homework, Ollie rubbed his eyes and looked back to the charts, hoping to forget about homework for a few minutes.
Time passed quicker then he thought it would since the next thing he knew, Rodger was leaning up against his desk which made him jump slightly and look up.
"Not homework." He shrugged, leaning back in his chair. "Just a little side project of mine, nothing special or anything."
There wasn't much need for an engineer in training like himself to worry about stars positions and names but he had always found them fascinating. Going star gazing had been something he used to do with his dad a lot and later with his little sisters when they were actually old enough to appreciate the beauty of it all. They weren't as fascinated as he was but it was still sibling bonding time and they loved that part so he had made sure to make it a regular thing. Shoot, now he was feeling home sick again. Ollie, thankfully, didn't have much time to dwell on missing his family since Rodger's stomach cut off the train of thought.
"Hungry are we?" He teased lightly, moving to clean up his charts but not bothering to put them away since he planned to work on them later. "Want to walk to the dining hall together?"
Warren Frost
Running paperwork and documents around was almost as boring as reading and signing them and not for the first time Warren was really questioning why he had accepted this position at all. Of course, he knew he had little choice in the matter when he was made a Lieutenant and giving an instructor position but while he didn't mind the latter, he very much disliked what had come with the former. Who knew there would be so much paper involved, not him that was for sure.
Grumbling under his breath, he dropped off the last of the cursed paper and internally cheered. With that done, he was free to focus on the part of his job he actually liked, teaching cadets. That part of his job came with its own challenges but that didn't stop him from enjoying it a lot more and most of the cadets he had taught and was teaching were quite bright and eager to learn. There were trouble makers of course, but he took them in stride and in the privacy of his own mind he thought that they tended to liven up the day just a little bit but he would never admit to thinking that.
Checking the clock, he noted he should get to breakfast soon if he wanted enough time to eat and still have enough time to get his first class set up before the cadets arrived. He was planning to run some accuracy drills as well as go over some gun break downs today so he needed time to get that all set up. Huffing at the thought of rushing through his breakfast, he resigned himself to eating something small and picking up the missed calories at lunch or possibly dinner if he missed lunch.
Warren also realized he should probably check in with the teams he was mentoring and see how the week had been going. It had been a few days since his last check in so it was about time he did. He decide to try and catch them during breakfast if he could and if not he would try again at dinner, lunch was never a good time for them or him really. With the plan to check in made, he headed for the dining hall, hoping the food was decent this morning and not terrible like it had been yesterday.
