{1x1 kalon rp} jilo and electra

this is a one-on-one rp between imp. and Newts!!
the rp features imp.'s kalon, jilo {as seen on the right}, and Newts' kalon, electra {as seen on the left}. kalons are a closed species currently run by Checkinder {you can find them here} and our kalon's designs are credited to their respective artists. their personalities and stories are our own creations, though it should be noted that their actions don't necessarily reflect our own personalities {...sometimes}. either way, this should be fun, so shall we get started? B)

plot/setting;;
electra is working at her antique shop and jilo comes in to look around. jilo ends up accidentally breaking something, but they don't have the money to pay for it. he ends up having to work there to pay it off!!

[Newts]

electra's nails clicked rhythmically on the granite counter.
she was getting bored.
there hadn't been a customer for hours.
sure she knew that antique shops weren't exactly the most popular thing, but this was probably the worst shift she had worked in a long time. the store was completely dead. not only that, all the other employees were off today and the boss was out running errands, making her the only kalon there. electra was the manager, so she was trusted with taking care of the shop while the owner was gone.
sighing, she got up and started to clean off some of the products.
though electra knew it was futile, she continued anyways to pass the time.
the entire shop was dusty and poorly lit, and the atmosphere was quite dull. the building itself was probably as old as the ancient relics sold here. everything about it wasn't that inviting, but electra liked it here anyways. though one thing she would change would be the scattered mounds of books blocking her view of the other goods. nobody knows where they came from or why they're even here, but they have always been around. everyone assumes its another one of the boss' mysterious secrets. damn fool barely even shows up, and at least half the staff doesn't even know their name.
what a weirdo.
snapping out of her thoughts, electra put a freshly dusted vase back on the shelf.
she went back to the front desk and started to tidy up when she heard the familiar chime of a bell.
quickly clearing the counter, she recited the traditional greeting with a smile.
"hello and welcome to the almost perfect antique store, what can i help you with?"

[imp.]

jilo padded into the antique shop. why am i here again? they flinched as the bell rung in their ears. oh yeah, just to get a new pot. they looked around at all the things then finally focused on the kalon at the front desk. "uh," jilo stuttered, "do you sell pots and stuff?"

[Newts]

electra watched the kalon excitedly. she was so tired of being alone.
in fact, she accidentally stared at them a bit before realizing they asked a question.
"oh, yes, they should be located in the pottery section in the back left or the vase section in the front!! would you like assistance in your search?"
she hoped she didn't sound too eager or come off as strange to them. electra tried her best to seem approachable.

[imp.]

jilo ignored them in hopes that the cashier thought they just didn't hear. they quietly padded to the back, as she said to, and started to look at everything. they carefully picked up a very pretty pot and then put it back on the shelf. well, not really. jilo's vision suddenly blurred and they dropped the pot just as it was about to be put back. they panicked and shot out through the aisles and ran out of the front door, surprisingly not breaking anything else.

[Newts]

electra clicked her tongue.
that just wont do.
sighing, electra sprinted out of the store in hot pursuit of the "customer."
she yelled after them, "we can either do this the easy way or the hard way."
if they continued to run, she intended to tackle them. if they stopped, they could work it out like civilized individuals. as electra continued to catch up on them, she wondered what they would do.

[imp.]

jilo froze but then quickly started running again. "uh, i'd prefer it the hard way, but i doubt that you'd be hard to get past." they yelled to the kalon chasing her. jilo spotted a closed dumpster right next to a whiteish trailer. they jumped ontop of the dumpster, kicking off of it as they jumped ontop of the trailer.

[Newts]

i was hoping this would happen in all honesty.
it has been a while since electra has had to chase a patron. last time it was a shoplifter. they came and put the stolen items back with a bloody nose and their tail between their legs.
"your funeral."
electra followed them without hesitation. she nimbly leapt from dumpster to trailer, in hot pursuit of the other kalon.

(switching to he only because it's easier ahaha)

jilo was forced to the front of the trailer where there was nowhere to go. he looked the other kalon in the eyes.

[Newts]

electra met the other kalon's gaze.
"if you would stop running, perhaps we could talk this out?"
she offered to them one more time. though she was itching to use force, she had self control.
