Sunlight streamed through the bright green foliage of the forest, as a summer breeze sung softly in the high branches. It was noon time--the sun was climbing and the heat was rising with little relief in sight until the evening. Scribbles squinted his eyes in a frown, as his line of sight flickered from the trees back to the ground. "Bother." He sighed, putting one paw in front of the other awkwardly.

It had only been one hour since he had left home. The only home he knew. A particularly enthusiastic young girl had been pampering him ever since he could remember. Nothing was wrong with it--but Scribbles knew there was so much more than one little house and an over eager human child.

Perhaps he would remember her when he got back, he considered, bring a trinket for her amusement.

Though in the meantime, there was a long road ahead of him. Filled with possibility and adventure. As inspiring as the thought was an hour ago, the reality of things were beginning to dawn on the pup. "How utterly careless of me to assume less." He thought aloud. It was true, Scribbles knew better than to let his imagination out of control. It wasn't going to be easy.

His ear flickered as he heard a rustle in the bushes ahead of him, feeling a trickle of apprehension, he stood still, waiting in anticipation for something to happen.

Percy tumbled out of the leaves, disoriented. Where was he? Once second he was with his family, the next, he was in this place with a lot of trees and bushes. He stood up and shook himself off, his curls bouncing. Percy's head snapped up to find himself face-to-face with another kalon. He managed a small smile and said, "Oh, hello there! My name's Percy!"

Scribbles alarm level went down to zero. It was just a pup.

He looked Percy up and down, with a touch of arrogance in his demeanor. "What are you doing here?"

Sebastian walks along a path he had been making himself in the forest he lived in, his expression was blank besides the slight hint of unexplained anger in his eyes. His face wore a slight scowl as he trudged on his barely worn path but he soon stopped, pausing in mid step as he did so. His pierced ears flickered up as soon as he heard voices, Sebastian rarely had a passerby and by the sound of it, there were two. He directed his body towards where the voices were coming from and poked his head into a bush, only his glowing eyes visible to whomever or whatever looked in his direction. And to his surprise, it was two Kalons. It had been ages since he interacted with his own kind, he usually spends his time alone or the only interaction he got with his kind was to kick them out of his territory. Sebastian wasn't looking for a fight right now though, and he gracefully began to step out of the bush until he was fully uncovered.

Sahara held his notebook in one paw and his pencil in his mouth, lightly chewing on it. He was leaned up against a tree, relaxing as you will, writing small notes down. The older kalon pushed his glasses up his nose before they fell down his face more; trench coat sitting folded next to him. There were noises from a while away, but he could still hear it, Sahara then set his notebook and pencil down and put his trench coat on; grabbing the notebook and pencil off the ground and placing in in the pocket. Awhile of walking later he heard the noises, but louder, what could they be? He came upon a rail of prints in the ground, he decided to follow them, in which they lead him to a couple pups. Pups? What are they doing here? he said to himself.

Sebastian looked between the now visible pups with slightly widened eyes before hearing footsteps of another, he looked up a bit and saw an adult Kalon. These might possibly be his pups, Sebastian straightened up, walking over towards the adult male Kalon, not caring that his fur or hair was a bit messy only a little glad that it made him look a bit more rugged and fierce. Seb narrowed his eyes once he was practically right next to the male and he stopped, "are these your pups?" He asked with his deep husky voice that sounded a tad bit gravely.

Scribbles fur spiked as the company grew, he should have thought to map out a less crowded route, the pup grumbled to himself. He turned to face Sebastian with a raised eyebrow, "I'm NOT his pup." Scribbles huffed, taking one paw in front of the other as he distanced himself from the group.

Though unfortunately for Scribbles, he didn't get far before an upright root brought him face down on the dirt.

Sahara raised an eyebrow at the messy furred kalon. "My pups? No sir, I have no pups." His voice was soft, he sounded tired. He padded over to the pups and furrowed his eyebrows. "Why are you pups alone in this forest? Where are your parents?" he was concerned. One pup spoke and walked away, but it wasn't long until he fell face down. The kalon followed to where the pup fell and offered his paw. "Need help?"

Percy hissed and scrambled away into the bushes. He sat there in hiding, hoping none of the older kalons spotted him. He turned around, ready to run back to his parents, but then he saw that there really was no escape. Just more twigs and leaves and all things prickly and odd. He was forced to give up his hiding place and hit the road again. Percy tumbled out of the bushes, for the second time that day, and shook himself off. He glared at the two older kalons before making his way down the long dirt road.

Sebastian looked at the pup who was very ill mannered and held a tone to his voice, his eyes narrowed at him before turning towards the other adult and nodding. "Alright," he said without much emotion put into his words. He watched as one of the pups tried running away from them and chuckled dryly before following him, he may not be the kindest Kalon. But he wouldn't let a pup wonder aimlessly all by themselves and possibly get hurt, he trotted up besides the pup, not saying any word. Just staying quiet so the pup wouldn't freak out, well hopefully he wouldn't freak out. As for manner wise, he waved his tail at the other two Kalon in a possible goodbye.
