Welcome to Willowbank Stables! Here we take care of over 500 individual horses and ponies, and dozens of generations. All kinds of breeds, personalities, and one big family. We invite you to roleplay with us if you have been an active member for more than a month here, and own more than two Willowbank equines. As of right now, this RP is invite-only. If you feel as if you meet all the criteria, please PM me about it and I can see if I can fit you in.

General Rules

1.) In order to roleplay with us, you need to have read all of this and understand it.

Once you have understood the rules in roleplaying on CS and know the do's and don't's, you can get started!
2.) You must own 2+ WBP's
3.) You must be an active member here for more than a month, and be invited by me.
4.) You must have correct punctuation and grammar. If it becomes a problem for the RP community, you will be asked to leave.
5.) There is no boss. There is no rule-maker. All rules are general, obvious rules, and anyone has the right to say and object anything without someone taking over. If you have any rule suggestions or adjustments, PM me immediately.
6.) A role-play can't be made possible without the enjoyment. If you are not enjoying this roleplay, feel free to voluntarily drop-out! We want it to be fun for everyone, and please express it to us if you are not so.
7.) The roleplay does not start until all participants have their character forms completed, and everyone agrees about starting. The first post will be made by me, describing the setting and setting up an enviroment that will play out throughout the rest of the roleplaying.

Character

As of now, each role-player is only admitted one character to become during the roleplay. Side context is allowed, as a horse needs it's rider's communication as well. If you want to plan something ahead of time with someone, PM the plot back and forth, please do not bring your conversation to the RP forum as it can cause confusion.
Your character must be an official Willowbank Pony/Horse on the official lines.
An age, height, and name is required to start off.

Forms

If you are an avid role-player and/or coder, you may know some things about roleplaying forms. If not, please look around the forums to get some examples. Your form must be completed in full sentences, as we need to get in the habit of being literate for this roleplay. Fancy coding is not mandatory, but looks cool, right? A reference picture can be either linked or put in the form, either works. The horse's barn name must be in large enough letters (image or text) so we can tell who it is before even taking any effort to read. Here is a site that gives you free font images, go check it out! When describing your horse, it's optional to give their coat color and genes. This image can help you if you aren't sure! If you are a first-time coder, please PM me and I'd be happy to help you! And if you need art (which is not mandatory, but optional) for your form, please PM me, I could pull up a headshot or two so your form doesn't look so bland! Just know that I'm always here to help.

Role-play 1 Setting

After it is confirmed that all participants have completed their character forms, and are ready to start, the beginning setting will be as follows. The scene starts out with Adagio nibbling on Cecily's forelock in a semi-dark barn. The sun is just setting, and the horses are slowly being let into their stables to mark the end of the day. Adagio nuzzles Cecily, she stands and teeters a bit on her young legs, and walks next to her father. She lets out a sneeze, and walks into a larger stable, where her mother, Ellie, and sister, Cecelia are laying, resting. Adagio's trainer arrives with Lincoln who was just out for a run. They are all places in to stables, then the other horses start arriving. There are some new equines, Adagio thinks. He smells purple lilacs on one he's never met. The lights are turned off, all the horses are in their pens. There are hundreds of horses in a very large industrial barn, the largest farm on the face of the Earth, Willowbank Stables, with over five-hundred inhabitants. In the darkness, the conversation starts. Have you seen the newest one? nickers a horse to Adagio's left. I heard Paris and Speckles had a foal the other week, I haven't met him yet. A female horse grunts, from the other side of the barn. Next to her, a voice replies, His name is Patches, I've seen him, he's so big for his age already! The trainer shuts the door, the horses are silent for one second in reaction to the slam, and an echo releases. Then conversation gets bigger, and bigger. As three trainers are walking away from the barn, an eruption of neighing and nickering comes from the barn. "Must be some drama, am I right?" A boy says to a girl, the girl giggles and keeps walking into the night. Back in the barn, Adagio is eager to meet the new horses he's been hearing about. Adagio is almost a leader among his group, and knows everything about everyone. He reaches over the barn door with his muzzle, and click, opens the hatch. Little does he know that he is about to meet some very new and interesting horses.

Please note that the role-play will not have you require to be this literate in your writing, but this is just to set up the scene before going shorter in replies. It is suggested that you read this all the way through instead of just skimming. Thank you!

Introduction
Adagio's Character Site. It includes his foals, mate, and all extra information, as well as art. Adagio (pronounced ah-dah-gee-oh) is an Italian name which means to play slowly. As ironic as that is, Adagio is a leading champion in racing, and him and his family all carry fast genes in them. He's almost a legend. Adagio was designed by me as my custom, and has been my favorite ever since.

Appearance
Adagio is a very stocky male, with a honey chestnut base coat. His mane is a redder liver chestnut. He has bird catcher spots on his rump over a white blanket, and up his back. Tan fetlock markings on each leg cover the dusty dark chestnut look that coats his legs up to his shoulders and knees. His hooves are rosy pink with one white stripe through the middle. His large curious eyes are hazel but often reflect as a very full, dark green. He is a very tall 15.5 hands high horse, and takes long strides in his step. At seven years old he's already gone quite far in training, and throughout the rest of his life he will become a legendary race horse, and hopefully his children will follow in his footsteps.

Personality
Adagio is a very well trained, tamed stallion. He follows routine and understands other rider and horse's body languages well. He's soft spoken and kind-hearted, and takes great care to his foals. He is a proud father and always sticks up for his family. A problem solver, but also a problem starter when it comes to defending himself and his family and/or friends. Around other acquaintances or strangers, horses and humans alike, he communicates in short, quick sentences. Once he gets to know you more, he can start to open up, which can make him a challenge to become friends with. His communications circle is very limited, and is close to only a selected few. These include his best friend Malcolm, Ellie's best friend Aftershock, and a close family friend, Deacon. He is also familiar with Alanah and Allegro, his daughter's best friends.

Family
Adagio met Ellie during a public riding lesson. His trainer and her trainer often work together on teacher younger kids how to ride, but Adagio and Ellie themselves have not met, until one lesson. They now have three children as of now. Cecily and Cecilia the twins, one of them carrying Adagio's grandmother's blind trait, and Lincoln, his only son, who is now planning to have a family of his own.

She is also blind, she was born blind and will always be blind but that's not a bad thing for her as she has learnt away to get around the 'disability' ❤

But as she is blind she will have to base other horses she meets on their personality and the way they speak as she can't see them which can often be a good thing because then she knows if she truly loves him. Iris loves to be groomed, as she can't see everything she feels is so important to, she loves the feeling of the brush running along her body. She also loves to eat warm oats and nibble on her hay. She often likes to fall asleep with the company of her best friend Miko she just feels safe around him. Another thing she enjoys is - being talked to, she loves to hear sound around her and she can often get a little jumpy when it's completely silent. She absolutely Adores the smell of Purple Lilacs and wears them in her mane and tail to remind her of the sweet smell.

Iris hates to be alone, she feels afraid and nervous whenever she is left in silence. She also hates to get wet or muddy because it feels awful when shes all damp and wet. Although she likes noise she still dislikes sudden noise or shouting. Another thing she hates is sugar cubes, they are just too sweet for this

She is a rather laid back mare who loves to explore with her nose, she can sometimes be a little jumpy due to bring blind and not being able to see the object around her, she is lost without her little friend Miko, he's like a guard dog to her. Always sticks by her side no matter what. She likes to be in the large paddock with the other horses but she often finds it hard to socialize with them when she can't see them, it sometimes upsets her when she realizes she cant see because she really wants to be able to see the ones she loves and see what she looks like herself, but she doesn't let being blind get her down all the time. She still trys to be happy and greeting just like all the other horses. She can be shy when you first meet her because she's afraid of how people might think of her, but once you get to know her she's an amazing mare and she's guaranteed to be your friend forever ❤

Unlike what most think of Gypsys this girl is very quiet and observant, she prefers to watch rather than join in, which makes most think that she is just an unfriendly grouch, but that's not true.
