You can choose to stop reading here, sure, but you'd be missing out on a great opportunity, one that could bear some interesting fruits for the taking, i.e. potential friends and food. You could even stumble upon that one someone of your dreams, all though this little party!
Please dress accordingly. You can choose not to wear very formal attire, but at least bring something somewhat-fancy. The only rule is to bring a mask to conceal your identity; if there were no masks, what would be the point in calling it a masquerade party, anyway? You may bring food, but only if you wish. Bring as many friends and acquaintances as you'd like as well.
