Meet Corrie Richardson, a seventeen year old Dhampir, guardian to damon.
She shares a special bond with him, which neither can explain. Her birthday
is may fifteenth. As for family, she has an older brother who is a dhampir,
and a dad who is a moroi. Her mother is dead, killed by a strigoi. She has
been a guardian to damon since she was thirteen. He is one of her best fri-
ends, really one of her only friends. She is shy, but also hot headed and fei-
sty. She has a short temper and gets angry way too fast. She is a smart girl,
though, and learns quickly. She is stronger and faster and more agile than a
normal human, considering she is not one. Well, she is only half human, half
vampire. But she is glad she doesn't have to drink blood to survive, but doesn't
mind giving her best friend her own blood to keep him alive and strong. She
isn't exactly selfless, though. She sometimes cares too much about her own
safety, which is one of her fatal flaws.

corrie glanced at her friend, the person she guarded with her life, with a slight smile. "so... where do you want to go, Damon?" she asked quietly, turning her attention back to the road so they wouldn't crash. she was glad to be with him, but she was sort of nervous. they hadn't moved in quite a while, and she was hoping it went well. she knew there were strigoi all around, and she definitely didn't want to run into one. she sighed, continuing to drive for a while in the somewhat awkward silence. she kept driving, and after a while, it was getting dark, and she was getting tired. "do you want to switch off, damon?" she asked, a little irritably. she looked up at him. "Aren't you hungry? you haven't eaten all day, have you?' she offered, a slight smile on her face. he had to be hungry, and it was too risky to get human blood, so she'd have to be good enough for now. he fed off her all the time, anyways.

(i was thinking that in your post they could get in the accident, just so that Damon had time to react to what she said.)
