It's that time of year again, the 56th Hunger Games. As everybody knows, it's a yearly event where each of
the twelve districts must select one young man and women (age 12-18) to compete with twenty-four other
tributes to the death; only the last one standing shall be the victor, and he/she shall live...

This year in particular, the arena's landscape will be centered around the seasons within a forest landscape
the gamemakers will change it's season from bitter, freezing cold winters, to burning hot summers. Cindara
and Mackey are just two of this year's tributes, both from District 7. In their story of survival and possibly
love, they will soon find that they will need each other to survive the arena and above all, the careers.

the forest is a large and vast, taking up nearly the entire arena. this year's arena is based off of the idea of the earth's seasons. the "summers" easily boil over 115 degrees and have no trouble drying up every last bit of liquid available. the "winters" leisurely slip below zero; the snow will be the least of your worries when your blood begins to freeze inside your veins. "springs" and "autumns" are more like intermission days, a lazy day for the gamemakers, as these conditions are easier to thrive in for the common tribute. aside from the extreme conditions, there are many other things to be wary of. poisonous plants, hallucination gasses, acidic water, and much more also threaten one's survival. mutated wild animals own the night, so be very cautious when the sun goes down. but aside from these things, there are also positive things to be known about the arena. the food you can obtain is that of a typical forest environment; prey animals such as squirrels, rabbits and deer, fruits and nuts too. there is also a wide range of shelters already created for one's self like caves and treetops.
ｔｈｅ ｌａｋｅ

far south from the cornucopia lies a large lake. all of the streams and rivers in the arena originate here.
ｔｈｅ ｓｔｒｅａｍｓ

stretching from the lake, many streams and rivers zigzag across the arena.
ｔｈｅ ｗａｔｅｒｆａｌｌ

there is one big waterfall in the arena. it lies east of the cornucopia.
ｔｈｅ ｈｏｔ ｓｐｒｉｎｇｓ

hidden deep within the arena are a few hot springs. though the water may be boiling hot, its the only antibacterial drinking water you'll be able to find unless you have a filter. but as we all know, things like filters are only available from sponsors.
ｔｈｅ ｃａｖｅｓ

there are many caves spread out all over the arena. they provide durable shelter from the extreme elements, plus act as a rather safe place to rest and rejuvenate.
ｔｈｅ ｃｏｒｎｕｃｏｐｉａ

everyone knows what the cornucopia is, as it bares gifts and necessities to surviving in the arena. twenty-four circular palates circle around the mouth of the large structure. there are three rings surrounding the cornucopia; the outer, middle, and inner.

❝Hi there, I'm Mackey (mack-key), Mackey Foxwood. I guess I'm your average District 7 kind of guy. Since I was 8 years old, I've been cutting and working with wood everyday out in the woods to earn a living for my huge family; a mother, twin 16 year old sisters, a 13 year old brother, and an 8 year old little sister. I have no father, he died three years ago when a log pile had fallen and suffocated him. Everybody in my family works with trees, except for Mila, my 8 year old sister and my mother who recently broke her arm. Mila on the other hand isn't allowed to cut trees or work with wood because of her small and fragile stature, she usually tags along to forage some food. You know, berries, mushrooms, plants, just a little extra someting for us to eat. Mila's also the reason why I have my girly little token too, it's her lucky bracelet, but I doubt it'll help me in the games...

Personality wise, I'm fairly social and enjoy making people laugh. If you can't see, I am a brown hair and brown eyed guy standing at roughly 5 feet, 10 inches. I have a good amount of muscle, if I don't say so myself and I am slightly tan. I can't get any darker or lighter despite my time in the woods everyday. I have had two girlfriends in my past, but I've been single for about a year and a half. Let's just say that I've been too busy for girls, though I do like the freedom it comes with when you're single.

Getting down on buisness, I consider myself to be a good allie in the games. All I'm saying is that I am handy with an axe, and know a good amount of survival knowledge since I have been stranded out in the woods of District 7 before.❞

↠ who exactly am i ? They call me Cinder. Hardly anyone seems to realize its actually a nickname. My full name is Cindara ( sin-dar-ah ) Cross. I am seventeen years old, and I swear if you can't tell what my gender is I'll gouge your eyes out- since they appear to be useless anyways. If the splinters in my hands haven't given it away yet, I come from the district of lumber- District Seven.
↠ what precisely is my story ? So you want a history lesson, eh? Well, I started chopping wood when I was nine years old; knew how to use an axe much earlier than that. I was eleven when my father was killed on the job by a falling tree- a common occurrence in my district. My mother kind of let go of life after that. She said she didn't see any importance in living anymore- even for her own kids. After some serious lecturing from my brothers and I, my mom came to her senses a little bit. Though shes gotten back in the swing of things, she has never been the same since. Its like every time I look at her, all I see is emptiness. My siblings and I work in the lumber yard earning what little we get paid there. I have two brothers. Havok, who is nineteen, and Axel, who is eighteen. They're great- always have my back, and I love them to death. Who do you think volunteered for my place when I was reaped for the Games? Though Havok's a year too old for the Games now, I can defiantly imagine both of them slapping on wigs and dresses to take my spot. Anyways, like I said before, I've worked in the woods since I was nine. Needless to say I have crazy upper-body strength as well as mad skills with an ax or/and hatchet. After doing my daily work in the lumber yard, I like to go deep into the woods. Since we have miles of forest we work in, I figure make the best of it, ya know? Its the one place I can really think. I've tried to hunt before by chucking a small hatchet or blade at an animal. I mean my aim is actually pretty good, if I do say so myself, but prey seems to always hear me coming and scatters before the blade has time to strike- no matter how lightly I walk. So, more often than not, I travel through the forest by jumping tree to tree- a little skill I've taught myself over the years.

↠ how do i choose to act ? Trust me not to make myself sound like some sort of perfect princess? *smirks* So, I've been told I'm a little bit of a pest, but I'd say I'm still likable. I have a real fiery kick to my personality, and won't go against my beliefs to please or bend to anyone's will. Therefore, I'm not a people person at all. Its miraculous that I actually have any friends whatsoever. I think it's just because of my good sense of immature humor and enthusiasm, and my vulnerable teenage charm. I have a real short temper as well. Some say I'm bipolar. I think I'm just assertive. I just speak the cold hard truth is all. I like to push the limits; I guess I can be considered a "bad girl". I can be pretty impatient, which makes me wonder how I'd do with an ally. My stubbornness makes me unable to accept the idea of anyone's but my own. Outside of my own little world, I have a poor grasp of the damage I can cause, and my immaturity and lack of forethought often lead me to disrespect those around me.
↠ how am i going to win ? I don't necessarily like killing, but when it comes down to it, its better them than me. My advantages in the Games are simple. Because I have worked with them all my life, I know all the ins and outs to using an ax/hatchet/tomahawk. Also, thanks to climbing trees and trudging through the forest all those years, I am fairly strong and fit, plus I have well-balanced stamina and good climbing skills. I have a good amount of plant knowledge, also because of practically living in the woods. My downfalls in the Games have the same simplicity. I can't swim. Believe me, I've tried, but it's never caught on. I have never hunted anything before, and the bold fact that I really don't want to makes me one of the "prey" pawns in this game. Lastly, I am built for woodland environments. So if the arena this year turns out to be a winter wonderland or something, I'm most defiantly screwed.

he is district 7's escort. this young man in his mid twenties, described to have wild looks, just like all the other citizens
of the capital. faolin is a thin young man standing at six feet, four inches and weighing in only to a hundred and thirty
pounds. and like many of the escorts, his is very overly enthusiastic. his hair is a huge puffy mess of mint green and
blinding orange, his suit looks as if he was covered in mud and rolled into pine needles, face caked in a creamy white
powder with ridiculous orange makeup. and his skin is also tainted to a light orange color. finally, his shoes are similar
to an elf's pointy ones; matching with his suit, it is finished off with solid gold shoe buckles.

she is cindara and mackey's main mentor aside from the four others. she is the only female victor in district 7, all other
victors from district 7 are male. winner of the forty-third annual Hunger Games, it's been thirteen years she's been a
victor. she is currently 28 years old and still beautiful. she is a nice, warm, and understanding. like the majority of
district 7, she has brown hair but her eyes are unique in district 7 as they are hazel. she looks like this.
