Magnet Powder and Myths

Love potions are a tricky thing to deal with: When made correctly, they can bring together two ponies who were destined to be; But when a wrong ingredient is used, or the recipe was just a little bit off, then it can cause chaotic consequences, and broken hearts.

Perhaps it unwise of a pony who thinks she knows what love is to try her hand at creating a new love potion, or perhaps she can add a ray of light to Equestria with it. All we can do for now is guess at what will happen.

Personality:
Bubbly, excitable, and easily lost in thought. Two has been known for both unbelievable mistakes and noteworthy accomplishments. She is not afraid to try things, but sometimes forgets to think them through completely.
She loves to pair ponies up, as it is her talent. She has surprising accuracy in matching personalities, but has had a few flops.

Personality:
Raven is a most mysterious character. She is quiet, emotionless, studious, and sarcastic. She can always come up with a witty remark, specifically in reply to most of peoples' antics and attempts at humor. Her appearance and attitude appears to be that of a typical modern goth female. However, as much as she may seem slightly distant and anti-social, she's someone mostly everyone can relate to. She's a recluse and sort of to herself.
Raven is often portrayed as a mature pony, often giving her own advice to the others about various subjects, and generally staying cool and calm, even in desperate situations. She is, however, mostly emotionally-restrained, appearing secretive and distant; she spends most of her time by herself, usually meditating or reading one of her numerous books. Even though she is serious and cautious about her emotions, the reason for her emotional restraint is due to the adverse effects her emotions have on her powers. If her emotions become out of control, her powers can become erratic and spontaneous, becoming active without her will. In the course of life, however, she gradually, if only slightly, seems to warm up to others. As shown through her quick suspicion of others, it is difficult for Raven to build trust for anyone, and even more difficult to truly forgive if that trust was to be broken.
In several instances, contrary to her usual behavior, she does show more emotion. Furthermore, Raven is known to sometimes be shocked at trivial things. She can lose her temper easily, most of the time, with those who are reckless enough to get on her nerves.
Despite her seemingly unfriendly attitude, Raven does indeed care greatly about the people she is attached to.There are many instances where Raven is portrayed as an understanding individual. Overall, Raven is not coldhearted, merely introverted, caring deeply about those close to her.
Raven is often portrayed as a most insensitive and pessimistic pony, and she generally regards everything in a "black and white" manner.
Other:
She is a demisexual horomantic; a person {in this case, pony} who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with someone, and only experiences sexual/romantic attraction with the same gender.
She has powers even though of her wings and lack of a horn- which she can't use.

Personality:
Acid is a rather dark pony who is pretty much negative about everything. He is untrusting at first unless you try to get to know him. He's grumpy and has a very short temper, and gets annoyed easily. If you get on his nerves, he'll put you back in place. He hates attention, though softens up to a small group of ponies. He prefers to to on his own, and is rather quiet. Even though he's comes off as one of those "tall, dark, and handsome" individuals, he finds himself getting into fights and losing trust of others. A rather dark past causes the stallion to not only be cold but be untrusting and negative as well. Though having minimal patience, he's not very talkative and wont approach others without first being approached.
Acid doesn’t like others very much and feels some satisfaction in putting them down however is one to more likely be humiliated in public than doing it himself. However to those he knows, he's serene and calm, and believe it or not, affectionate to very little. He comes off as blunt mostly to his friends when he's not in a bad mood however to someone he loves he's very cuddly and caring. He's protect someone he's close to in a heartbeat.

Born much shorter than most ponies with weak wings, Coal is unable to fly and gets sick pretty easily.
He smokes too much, and if he's not smoking he's chewing on a toothpick or a wheat straw.
A bit of a sadist, doesn’t like others very much and feels some satisfaction in putting them down. He enjoys publicly humiliating others in order to achieve a sense of power over them and he can be manipulative, bossy, and arrogant...
He isn’t very talkative but isn't afraid to approach others fist if he has reason. Coal is energized by being alone and being around others drains him. He rather be at home with his video games or books versus out and about with pony friends, though there are a few exceptions including the gang of misfits he lives with. Coal doesn't have many friends, but values the ones he does have and will very often try NOT to be a big jerk to them.
He has low self-esteem due to his lack of height, dingy colours and inability to fly but he often carries himself as if he's better than others. He's still a blank flank because of his lacking self-esteem and brooding doubts in himself.
Coal is surprisingly sensitive and doesn't always take well to teasing or practical jokes and will retort over the top with anger or occasionally violence when felt threatened.
When he's not being a little angry spaz, Coal is calm, quiet and drowsy and believe it or not, cuddly. If he's comfortable enough with a pony he can be quite affectionate, especially when he's sleepy.
Deep down he still has a heart and cares deeply for those with a positive impact in his life.


Other:
Coal doesn't find mares attractive and feels a stronger tug toward other stallions.
Coal often plucks his own feathers from his wings.

Personality: Snow is confident and cool at very nearly anything. He'll go along with anything as long as everybody gets a laugh out of it. In this sense he's basically untouchable, as cruel comments are just laughed off. He's also a huge flirt, which gets him into trouble at times, as he sees it as harmless but others often disagree. He also can insult ponies as he will flirt but very quickly lose interest. However if somebody does catch his eye he tends to pursue it till he gets a firm kick in the jaw.
Snow detests fighting of any kind, especially bickering, and will often just leave the room. If he can't he ends up very tense and angry. He enjoys cooking, though barely eats, so can also be seen wandering with food. Snow has a touch of unicorn envy, in which he loves his wings, but realises how easy being a unicorn could be.
Other: Mountain Snow never got his cutiemark and spends a lot of time trying new things to see if he will get one, which means he's ok at a lot of things and good at nothing.
Also, Snow will never take off that scarf. He has his reasons.

Personality: Task oriented; once given a job to do he will see to it that the task is completed as efficiently and flawlessly as possible. Good luck getting him to stray from his job, he goes into a tunnel vision and will push aside distractions. He can get easily hung up on detail. His impeccable memory allows him to get friendly with lots of ponies; he remembers little details about the ponies he meets but bigger pieces of information will pass him by. Though he's a skilled socializer, he does have one neuroses; time. If he's even a minute late he will start to beat himself up.
Other: Gold Rush is one of the few remaining earth pony long distance mail carriers. His speed, stamina, and dedication have allowed him to keep his job. He hasn't slowed down much to take notice of other ponies but it's the off season which allows him time to socialize.

When it comes to love, Gold Rush is very flexible, both mares and stallions are okay by him.

(We're going to start now! It'll be a bit before the main theme starts, but we're ready for introduction posts and such.)

The dawn sun was rising, engulfing the land in a peachy-orange light. Long shadows were cast, causing the few nocturnal animals that were still out to retreat to their homes. Most ponies still lay in their beds, dreaming quietly. Even the roosters thought it too early to crow.

One pony, however, was up and about, busily mixing an array of ingredients into a large, round pot, not too dissimilar to a cauldron.

"Lovebugs' wings.... forget-me-not blossoms... twelve red rose petals... But it's missing something!"
The pink mare whined quietly.
"How am I supposed to make a true-love potion if I can't think of what it needs to make it work?"
Flipping through several notes and scrolls, she continued to pout.
"If I can make this work, then nopony would ever need to feel lonely again! But what is it missing? What does it need?"
Levitating a few books from her shelf, she flipped through them all at once; An ineffective means of finding knowledge, but much quicker than going through each one by hoof.

"They all say the same things," she said, dejectedly placing them on the table.

With a sigh, the purple-maned unicorn got up.
"Maybe I can think of something if I take an early morning walk..." she thought aloud. "After all, absence makes the heart grow stronger. Maybe that works with love potions, too."
