Like all their ancestors before them, Rainclan, Dewclan, Streamclan, and Mistclan gather together for a night of peace and understanding beneath the calming light of the full moon. Drawn like moths to a flame, when the moon becomes whole they follow the path lit by fireflies, their warm glow penetrating even the darkest shadows. This trail that has been worn smooth by the countless paws that have traveled it over the seasons guides them to the sacred gathering place of the clans. The small path opens up to a small clearing, protected by tall, slender tree trunks and menacing stones. A stair-like series of rocks leads up to large collection of boulders which are used by the leaders to give their announcements to the gathered cats below. Deputies sit close by their leaders, usually either below or beside them on the soft rocks. All around the mingling cats fireflies dance to and fro, their light aiding the moon in its difficult job of bringing light to the normally dark forest.

When the gathering begins a truce between the four clans that lasts until the night is over. It is one of peace and when it is broken StarClan will cover the moon with clouds to show their disapproval of the clans actions. When this happens the Gathering ends immediately and the Clans must return to their territories. These times are meant for meeting new cats, but is not meant for the clans to share their weaknesses with one another. This is instead a time for leaders to tell of current affairs and significant events within their clan. They also use it to ask each other for help if needed. It is considered extremely disrespectful for cats, other than the leader, to speak from their designated positions of the rock if they were not specifically asked to do so. Everyone please remember to behave and be respectful not only in IC but OCC and to listen to their leaders. No kits or anyone else that has not been chosen by the leader to come to the Gathering can come here. The warrior code is also something to keep in mind while talking with cats of other Clans. We may also sometimes have daylight gatherings and hold friendly competitions between the clans during them. Remember, all the rules from your Clan apply here as well as the ones mentioned above.
