super man, let's go!

The competition was everywhere, everyone wanted you to enter. Maybe the school nominated you, or your friends, family, maybe even your neighbour. You thought it was pointless, wherever you lived, as you thought you would never get it. Never. But your luck, it struck gold. A week later, you had first class plane tickets to Ripon, England. You where escorted into a limo, then taken to the mansion. People, nine others, where there to. The bedrooms were huge, giant beds and a libraries, and a pool as well as farm land at the rear of the house. There were stables, kennels and places for all animals to take occupancy, no matter what breed or size. Now you are stuck here for a month. Anything could happen, injuries, drama, fallouts, anything!

Jamie is the opposite of what anyone would expect from a near-genius. Smart he might be, but stable he is far from.
Jamie is a very odd boy indeed. He's not emotionally stable, prone to laughing one minute and attacking the nearest person the next. Generally his three states of mind can be classified as 'overly-happy', 'ready-to-rip-something-apart-with his-bare-hands', and 'incredibly bored'. There is little space in between these three states of mind, and Jamie knows no such thing as 'shades of gray'. The triggers are simple; bored is his default mode, overly-happy is what happens when he sees a flower or is talking to someone, ready-to-kill is when he his angered, even just slightly.

First mode, bored. When he's alone or with nothing to do, Jamie is left tapping at a desk or whatever he happens to be near with a faraway, impatient expression. His hands will be shaking ever-so-slightly, and he'll jump at the slightest sound. Most shake when something stressful is happening, Jamie is the opposite; when there isn't something to make his pulse speed up or make him worry, he's a jumpy wreck. And he's left craving something big, plans that will surely cause chaos flying around his mind, all behind a bored expression. Sadness, gratitude, peacefulness; these are all but nonexistent. When he should be feeling any of those, he's bored. Thankfully, small things distract him from his urge to cause mayhem.

Jamie smiles with shocking ease, laughing at very small things. These are his second state of mind, where everything is a reason to happy. A flower, a small joke, it's all the same to him. He'll be beaming, but the constant grin and elaborate exclamations frequently give the air of being fake, or even mocking. Except there's one small issue with that assumption; it's wrong. Like said, Jamie is a very odd child indeed. He's as easily amused as he is bored. When in this bizarrely happy state of mind, he has trouble recognizing when someone is mocking him or depressed; he seems to assume that everyone else is in as good a mood as he is. However, easily amused and easily bored, he is similarly easily angered.

Jamie's last state of mind is always considered his worst. All it takes is recognizing a small tease, accidentally running into him, or just bad luck or bad weather to make him snap. When Jamie snaps, he doesn't calm down. It's incredibly hard to make him forget his anger, no matter how trivial the cause may be. In this state he doesn't think straight, his sole purpose becoming to injure/destroy whoever/whatever it is that irritated him. Common sense is lost in his mind, and he stops thinking about what should come normally to someone. His intelligence remains, but on what's obvious; when angered, Jamie will run straight into a street and not think about any of the dangers that would be clear to anyone else. Jamie usually only returns to his bored or happy states of mind, which are highly preferable to those around him, once he has successfully gotten rid of what angered him in the first place, or he was soundly beaten by whoever it was, if it was a person anyways. Usually defeat makes him calm down, but not always.

Thankfully for the sake of most, Jamie's most common mood is 'unnecessarily happy'. Because when he's angry, things usually are destroyed and/or die. When he's bored, he's usually return to books and learning ever more, or using his knowledge to irritate someone. However, until this new challenge, boredom is eating at him worse then ever. He's craving something that will take his attention away from the void of nothing to do other then soak up information ever more. So far, Jamie hasn't found a way though he's hoping the new challenge will prove to be interesting.

((This is a fairly non-pretty form as I have the coding skills of a confused rock and I don't like using others' forms. >_< Sorry!))
Username: Riliane & Allen
Image
Name: Jamie Kurone
Nickname: It's hard to shorten 'Jamie', but feel free to try.
Age: Fifteen, nearly sixteen
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual, preferring guys

Description: While technically a fifteen year old boy, he looks anything but that. Jamie looks younger then he is, standing at 5'4 and weighting less then average by a considerable bit. His face is childish, with smooth features and his pale green eyes are large and held wide. His face shows what he's thinking, never blank and always moving, either just his eyebrows slanting at the slightest annoyance, or his mouth tugging into his constant grin.

He's not a noticeable figure, and has very few noticeable features about him for one to normally see. His ears are pierced though he rarely wears anything in them, and the only scar that can be easily seen is a small one above his right eye. Jamie does stand out a bit among the others with dull, nearly white brown hair that's a few shades lighter then his skin color, but it's not that strange so he doesn't give a second thought about it. He has a large burn scar stretching from the base of his neck down his back, that he generally keeps hidden. Jamie wears his hair long, reaching down his neck, to help with hiding the burn. It's always messy and refusing to stay even remotely flat, so when it gets in his way too much -which is to say, most of the time- he ties it back into a short little ponytail.

He's in that awkward stage before a growth-spurt where his limbs are off proportion, and everything about him is slim, though there is a faint layer of muscle there. Heavy-lifting is something that is clearly beyond what this small boy can do, but to make up for that his legs are long and he can run at speeds one would find hard to believe from such a child.

And then, like mentioned earlier, it's not hard at all for one to mistaken him for a female. In all honesty if he put on a dress, very few would give him a second glance. This irritates him greatly and he usually sticks to the usual outfit, in a size too large for him as to keep it from restricting movement.
Height: 5'4
Weight: 105(pounds)

Fears & Phobias: Jamie isn't scared of much. Few things unnerve him. However, he has a crippling hydrophobia. Small amounts of water don't bother him, like a glassful for small puddle, but a lake, pool, or downpour? He'll be terrified just being near it, thinking that somehow just being by the water will make him drown. Naturally, he can't swim and avoided large bodies of water at all costs.
Strengths/Skills other then talent: Other then his far above average intellect, Jamie has few skills. He has somewhat long legs that make running fast and jumping high easier, but he's neither very strong, good at any sports, nor social.
Personality: Jamie is the opposite of what anyone would expect from a near-genius. Smart he might be, but stable he is far from.

He's craving something that will take his attention away from the void of nothing to do other then soak up information ever more. So far, Jamie hasn't found a way though he's hoping the new challenge will prove to be interesting.
History: Always, always Jamie has been smart. When he was young, he figured out ways to move around his house without having use his shaky toddler legs. He would remind his parents of everything they forgot, and once a fact entered his mind, it never left. He was deemed 'bright', which his parents were all too proud of. Jamie had an older brother and later a younger sister, but while both were far from stupid, neither of them had minds like his. His parents, who Jamie does his best to avoid now, were fixated on the idea of having a genius for a son. All it can take to ruin a child's life is a phone call, and that was the case here. It was a simple call really, a request for him to skip to first grade at the age when most children were still in preschool. With the test results he scored soon after, it was decided; he could easily skip to that grade then, and breeze through the class. The high test grades came easily; studying was easy when everything he read or heard just stuck in his mind. Little Jamie had no idea that he was proving himself to have potential beyond what most children could ever had, and he was condemning himself.

For four years, Jamie played into the hands of his parents and excited teachers. In those four years, Jamie worked his way up to a seventh grade level, despite being barely ten years of age. He was home schooled at that point; a ten year old did not belong in a seventh grade class, especially when he was still learning faster then the older members of his grade. It was around then that his deductive ability began to show; he would meet someone for the first time, and Jamie would be able to recite random things about them that he was never told, and usually he ended up being correct. It was analysis from what he could see and nothing more, but he did it so fast that no one was sure what to think. Jamei didn't even understand why everyone else couldn't do it, and was confused when people asked him obvious things he thought they should be able to figure out.

In the next two years, he stopped being a child, even though he just turned twelve at the end of that period. No more could his parents call him by cute names without him getting angry, and he discovered the teenage rebellious stage at a young age indeed. Working his way through work that was years ahead of the average grew tiresome, and Jamie blatantly couldn't stand it. But the desire to learn more and more didn't leave him; in front of his parents he would argue and yell, but alone he would do exactly what he had refused to do earlier: learn more and more.

Age fifteen, four months from sixteen, was the age when Jamie officially snapped. The constant nagging to do better from his parents became unbearable, and Jamie wanted to know no more. He ran away. Just for a few days to a friend's place and after wards he returned, but that was enough to get the message across to his parents; he was sick of everything. Already knowledgeable far beyond his years, it was time for a break and it wouldn't hurt him, that was for sure. But his parents weren't going to let his intelligence go to waste for even short while, hence him ending up at this mansion. The competition seemed perfect for him in the eyes of his parents, their friends, his own friends, and too many others.
Family, friends, etc: Jamie has a mother and father who he would like not to see again for a long time, an older brother who he's less then fond of, and a six year old sister who in his eyes is more annoying then cute.
Talent: Jamie is, to put it simply, intelligent. Not exactly a genius, but from even slight amounts of information, he can draw conclusions that would normally take a grown adult a lot of pondering to reach. All of which is with ease, and instinctive. From a glance, he can make very accurate guesses about whatever he sees. Reading tones, body language, it's all easy. Combined with a near photo-graphic memory, it's very hard to trick him, and he has a huge array of knowledge stored away in his mind. To put it simply, Jamie is an odd, incredibly intelligent boy.
Crush?: Nope.
