Welcome to the tiny town of Greywood, Virginia. It's streets are lined with quaint little houses, and neat flowerbeds line their yards. Towering oak trees create shade, their trunks marked with signs of young love. It is a slow town; people walk to get places and each new neighbor is greeted by freshly baked cookies and smiles. Gossip is practically a sport, and rumors spread like smooth, fresh butter.

If you follow these rumors, you will most likely find yourself on Willowby Lane. At the end of this quaint street is a large, rolling estate. An elegant mansion, Victiorian in origin, stands proudly down the well-kept gravel road. This is the adress of Mrs. Willowby, an elderly widow which much of the town's gossip revolves around. She was a vet in her day; a job that was not deemed appropriate for a woman. She rarely leaves her house now, and lives alone...

With dozens of rescued animals.

You have been invited to work for her and help her with the animals. Whether or not you accept is up to you. But there are thousands of possibilities at

Although Ellis is a very skilled vet, she is confined to a wheelchair and can't do all the things she once was able to. She needs someone to help her out!
Age Required: Must be at least 26.
Job Perks: Generous wages and a small house on the Estate is available for rent at a very low price

Dog Trainer
Takes care of behavioral issues in the dogs and teaches them how to be polite and proper so they can one day be adopted!
Age Required: 18 years at the very least
Job Perks: Wonderful facilities to work with, as well as a good sum of money

Rescue Hands
Usually teenagers who help with anything and everything that needs to be done around the Estate. Sometimes the kids are troubled, other times they're simply in love with animals.
Age Required: 15-18
Job Perks: Very nice pay, a place to find new friends, lots of free, delicious food

2. Use the skirt rule-- Make your post long enough to cover everything that needs to be, but not so long that everyone falls asleep before they finish it. A paragraph (at least 4 sentences!) is probably the least you should be writing, even if you do have writers block. If you're having trouble with this, add details: How does your character feel? Is their an ant crawling up her leg that needs to be swatted?
