Mintstar lacked any of her former hesitation as she lead her Clan towards the Gathering, whatever fear and anxiety she held in the past of going to such events evaporated into thin air as she strode confidently. She needed every Clan to know that even with their founder gone, PineClan was still as strong and as prosperous as ever. With a wave of her tail, her cats moved to join the clearing below while she made her way over to where the other leaders were located. Duckfoot nuzzled her cheek affectionately before seating himself where several of the warriors were at. Mintstar watched him go and took a deep breath before speaking up. "Hello again, you might've known me as PineClan's deputy but, as of Leaf-bare - I became it's leader." She meowed to the others, a tingle in her paws as she declared her new rank.

Rowanpelt felt out of place with the other deputies even though he himself was one, and besides, he knew he shouldn't be there with them at the moment anyway. His friend, Wasptail, had requested for him to seek out her mate from EchoClan - the medicine cat Ramhorn. She wanted him to know that she was going to have his kits and she trusted Rowanpelt with telling him as he was posing as the father. The russet-pelted tom kept a lookout for Ramhorn's white pelt among the throng of cats, easily spotting him with the rest of the medicine cats, now the real challenge was to get him separated from everyone else. Rowanpelt gulped, hoping that perhaps greeting him like he would a friend wouldn't be too suspicious. "Ramhorn! It's been so long, how've you been?" He greeted him cheerily, prickles of anxiety going down his back as he waved the tom over.

Shadepaw had been looking forward to the Gathering, the area itself and the many cats would make a great distraction from home, which had been causing her nothing but grief ever since her mother's passing. And it would be wonderful to see how Hearthflame was doing, he seemed like such a nice cat, and she needed that kind of warmth again in her life. Plus she wanted to meet the tom's mentor Aspenleaf too, she sounded like a nice too from what she had learned from Weaselstorm - who was right besides his apprentice as they padded towards the other medicine cats.
Aspenheart was by himself at the Gathering again, at this point he wondered if his family was purposely keeping away from him, even though the reasonable part of his mind told him that they just stayed behind to be with their families. And yet he should be a part of that too, right? The tom huffed, now was not the time to mope. The gray tabby lazily watched the rest of the gathering cats move to speak with their friends, one ginger pelt stood out as he recognized Rosepaw from TumbleClan staring at the stars and moved his way over to speak to his one and only friend. "Hey Rosepaw, it's been a while, huh?" He meowed, a half-smile on his face, he hoped she wasn't starting to abandon him too.
