Aionios flicked an ear,listening quietly.He noticed another cat's presence,one not from his clan.The cat was good,a new tracker would not have noticed.But they were all pretty good at what they did,all the Cavallino trackers out now knew.He glanced down,and saw a small figure of the cat,he was quite easy to spot,with his bright warpaint.He felt a rumbling inside of him,something deep and throaty,it revealed itself as a growl,but he quickly shut himself up.He wouldn't give their presence away even more.

"Leave..?"Aio whispered,mostly to himself.Leave?He couldn't leave!If the feline decided to attack,he should stand and defend his clan,correct?Sure,Bellatrix could defend herself,but without help,she could become wounded.And then what?She would need time to heal.She could have trouble with her duties,she was the Lead Tracker,after all.He knew he was thinking about it too much,but his brain refused to stop,it carried on so much that the thoughts traveled towards his throat,and he opened his mouth to speak.The discipline he had made him stop,and he bit his tongue,and managed just one word."O..okay."His voice was very soft,but any cat could tell he was holding but what he really wanted to say.But he wouldn't dare.Speak against someone higher than?As if.He would never.At least...not in this situation.

Mercaro knew that now was the time to attack. He was aware they could sense his presence, and in a matter of seconds they would probably spot him. His coat didn't really help him to blend into his environment either. Crouching back he sprung onto a branch of a nearby tree. Quickly, he jumped from tree to tree at full speed. He let out a furious roar and directed his piercing amber gaze towards them.

Bellatrix heard the slight whisper from Aio, but said nothing. Her eye gazed forward and a roar broke the silence. A low growl escaped her mouth. She jumped trees but lower until she saw him just a head of her. Bellatrix then pounced up right when he was about to jump another tree branch, her weight sent them both on to the ground and neither of them escaped the scratches of a few tree branches. Her paws landed square in his shoulders and she pinned him. She learned that from her dad from when he was Lead Scout many years ago. She glared her silver eye at him and showed her fangs. "Let us leave and I wont hurt ya'. " Her voice was strong and it glistened with anger. She held him firmly waiting for his answer.

"Honey, you should be more worried about yourself." Mercaro replied with a devilish smirk. Swiftly, he jerked up his hind legs and dug his razor- sharp claws into her stomach. In a fraction of a second he began to rake his hind claws in quick strokes across her underside. With his hind feet he flung her off of him. Then he pounced on top of her, pinned her, and made sure to pin her hind legs also so she couldn't try his own trick. He drove his claws deep into her flesh and beared all of his weight down on her.

Aionios turned his head towards the direction of the roar,always listening,He could see there 'almost-attacker'.He still didn't want to leave he attacked.What about Bella?He couldn't stop worrying.And then it happened.It was a split second,seriously.He saw a bundle of mashed together black and golden with black fur.If he didn't concentrate,that's all he saw,but when he did,he saw much more.The branched cutting them,them tussling in the air.They hit the ground.

Bellatrix was good.She already at the Velocia clan member pinned.But the clan member was smart.He raked her belly and flipped her over,showing dominance.How could have Bella let herself get into that vulnerable position with other making sure his hind legs would get her?The cuts seemed deep,even from up high he could smell the blood.And it made him mad.How dare some cat they didn't even know attack her so furiously?Aio knew he was protecting his clan,but the intensity was making his mind grow foggy.He hated when this happened,when he didn't think.When he only followed a pure instinct.Protect your clan.That was the only thing in his head.

Another rumbling was building up,but this time he let it free.He growled,his lips lifting to bare his sharp teeth.Without thinking twice,he leaped from branch to branch,taking to-far leaps,leaps that could make him fall at any second but he never did.He claws sunk into the bark,his tail moving every which way to balance himself.As he hit the the ground,he let throaty sounding words escape his maw."You're one to talk,"He said through his growl,running at Mercaro,stopping at the last second to lift himself up,and,using his front paws,bring his wait down on him horizontally,causing him to stumble off of Bella.

Bellatrix glared down at him when he replied and when he dug his claws in to her stomach, she was caught slightly off guard and her claws dug in to his shoulders to try to get her mind off the pain by bringing pain to him. She yowled angrily when he pinned her and clawed at her, but when he got a little to close she clamped her mouth on to his right paw and bit down hard, like before, trying to ignore her pain and it worked. Soon a brown blur, who she found out it was Aionios, knocked the Velocia clan member off of her and she got up. Bellatrix panted slightly and glared at Mercaro; it was going to take more than a couple of scratches on her stomach to get her to back down. She roared at the Velocia clan member and watched to see what he would do next because she was in no mood to back down or give mercy to him.

Reflexively, he sprung back to his feet and took a defensive stance. Mercaro glared back at the two; he let out a low, fearsome growl as he barred his teeth. The bite on his foot would have caused any other cat to shrink away, but with his high pain threshold it felt merely like a step on a sharp rock. By now he knew that other clan members would be on their way after hearing all the commotion they were causing. ' If only I can stall them long enough until someone else comes. ' He thought as he flexed his claws, digging them into the ground.

{I don't know if Panacea will post about this or what. She gave up the computer for lent and won't be on it until Easter, so I don't know what the role play will do if it will just be on halt or continue on with out her. (I doubt we will.) Still I'm unsure. Just thought I'd let you guys know.}

Bellatrix stood up, ignoring the pain in her stomach and the blood, her eye locked on his. She returned his fearsome growl with her own. She stood in a strong stance, not feeling like going down again. Her tail flicked side to side in irritation. Bellatrix glanced at Aionios. She made a mental note to thank him when they get back to their territory. They have to leave and get back before anyone else has to get hurt, especially Gezelle she was already scared and Bellatrix needed to bring her home.

((Ohhhh. I know with some of the forms of christianity- for example I'm methodist and we can do this- each Sunday in lent you can do whatever you gave up for lent. So if it goes along with the form she practices she can get on the computer on Sundays.^^))
