As soon as Orchid read the text from Peter,she dropped her paintbrush on the floor and bolted downstairs,not even bothering to wash the paint out of her hair or off her hands. She also had it smeared on her face, how she managed that was beyond her understanding but it always seemed to happen. She was hoping to get to the door before Peter got there,but her efforts were to no avail. Johnny reached the door first,opening it up when Peter knocked."Hey,dude. You the guy my sister spent the night with?" he asked,causing Orchid to squeak in alarm. She dashed over to Johnny,shoving him out of the way."Johnny, go do something else. Leave Peter and I alone we have a chemistry test tomorrow we need to study for." the raven haired girl huffed,a smirk growing on her twins face."Oh ya,totally. I get it you're gonna study. And I'm gonna go be an upstanding citizen." sarcasm laced his voice. Johnny glanced back at Peter,putting his hand on the other boys shoulder. He had met Peter multiple times before of course,but they weren't friends or anything. He narrowed his eyes."Do anything,and I mean anything to hurt her,and you're dead,Parker." Orchid shook her head as her brother spoke. He waved to his sister before exiting the house,off to do who knows what. Orchid rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly."I'm sorry. . Kinda forgot he was like that." she backed up abit,pointing to the ladder that came down from the ceiling at the end of the hall."We can go upstairs,my parents should be home in a couple hours, they're at work now." she climbed up the ladder after Peter,giving him a small,timid smile. She was letting him into her room for the first time since they became a couple,and she was kinda nervous about it.

He took a deep breath,squeezing her a bit tighter in a reassuring manner before opening the door. As soon as they entered the room,they were bombarded with questions. Tony gave a wave here and there,but didn't say anything until he got to the front of the room,keeping Avery close to his side.The reporter's questions got louder, until he held his hand up to silence the crowd. At random he picked someone out of the crowd. A blonde woman held her microphone forward."Mr.Stark,can we get a report on what happened the other night? This wasn't the first time you had to step in to help Spider-man. " he sighed,glad the first question wasn't about Avery. It seemed he had chosen wisely this time around. "It was nothing more than an attempted robbery. Spider-man handled it fine. I only stepped in to quicken the situation. Next question" he pointed at a man in the back,who shoved his way upfront. "Speaking of last night,we noticed you were with a woman, the same woman you have standing next to you right now. If I recall, she's also your lawyer, Ms.Avery Tunis,is there any reason you seem to be spending so much time with her now?" Tony cracked a small smile,and glanced lovingly at Avery,causing the crowd to gasp a bit."No, Ms.Avery is no longer my lawyer, this is because our relationship had developed into something more than a partnership. We are dating, and I expect you all to respect her and our choices." he stated,glancing at Avery,before moving on to another question. He answered a few questions about new suit designs,and eventually it got back around to his relationship with Avery. Someone asked she was expecting his child, which was the reason for their sudden relationship change. He quickly denied this,as she lost definitely was not having a baby anytime soon. Another asked if they would be married at some point,and he quickly stated he hoped they would be at some point.
