Catherine glanced over her shoulder at him and smiled before slipping out of the room. She then started her job back up and dusted the decorations around the hall, there were so many little knick knacks here and there, and none of the other girls really paid much attention to cleaning them up, they only worked on the obvious things. She watched the others move around when they appeared but mostly kept to her own.

Xander stared at the ceiling, resting but bored. He moved around and even started to pace around the room not really sure on what to do. He read a book for a little while but didn't find it entertaining enough, then walks out of the room to try to find something to do. He ends up walking out of the castle and wonders around the town alone.

After finally finishing with the dusting, she headed back downstairs to try and decide what to work on next. Quite a few of the workers were now in the main part of the palace working about, so there was nothing to do down there at the moment. She puffed out a sigh before deciding to take her work to the garden to water the plants.

In the town there is a lot of talk about the recent murders that has happened. People worried and confused on why and what happened. There are also a lot of people that greeted the prince, some of the ladies trying to talk to him and other watch him as he walked by. He didn't really mind talking to the people that had walked up to him, some being strange but he continued on. He never really notice the women staring at him and continues to just wonder around town.

Catherine found a watering can outside for the plants and filled it with water. She hummed a gentle tune to herself as she watered the flowers, being careful not too give to much or too little.

Xander eventually wonders back to castle grounds, he looks around for Catherine. When he finds her he walks up to her. "Hey Catherine! Would you want to take a break from your gardening and get some food?" He look at her and the garden she was working on. "Unless you wanted to continue on your guardian, then that is understandable."

Catherine turned around at the sound of her name. She smiled as she saw Xander and glanced at the garden then back at him “Food sounds wonderful,” she replied. She placed the watering can away for the time being before returning to Xander. “Out for a walk? I bet there were a lot of people out today,” she said as she glanced at the entrance to the grounds where he had come from. Usually on days like this, people were all over the place, there was barely a cloud dotting the sky.

Xander smiles brightly when she accepts his offer to get food. "Yea there were tons of people, a lot of people were talking about the murders that happened yesterday... There were also many people interested in talking with me.. A lot were women.. which was weird." Pretty clueless about the fact that they like him. Xander also starts walking with Catherine to the dining hall.

Catherine felt a weird pang in her chest when he mentioned the other women around town, was it crazy to feel jealous about something silly like that? She hid her feelings well and smiled in amusement. “Xander, that’s probably because you’re a handsome prince and they’re interested,” she said and followed it with a little laugh while she walked beside him. “None of them stood out?” she asked with a slightly teasing tone, part of her was digging for details about the women in town.
