Loki had returned to his room after Tony had shouted at him and accused him of being the wolf, which he did, but he would never admit. in the battle he had watched the human make a fool of himself, and truthfully he was looking for a way to get both of them out of there with out harming himself or his son. he had sat down the bed reading the same book, getting through most of it before his door opened.
when the door opened Loki didn't even look up from the open book, "Isn't knocking the common mortal way to enter a room, you reek of mead by the way." he didn't know who it was until they spoke, he had narrowed it down to Thor or Tony as both of them drank, and heavily. "I'll Say it again so you can understand" Loki said rather slowly, like he was talking to a slow child "I. Have. No. Idea. What. you. are. Talking. about. whatever. you. are. accusing. me. of. is. false." Loki maintained a strait face the whole time, only a bit of confusion darted across his face, playing exactly as he should.
Slowly but not as child like as before Loki answered his questions, "I am here because all of you are too foolish to figure out how to beat a pseudo god, and Thor, you as well, are scared of my son. as for the offer, that is between Myself and him, just like our little deal" Loki looked at him with a smirk. He didn't want to tell them that he would not be returning to Asguard and would be running loose where he wanted. "And if memory serves I was sitting here, alone when you walked in so I was "Leaving you all alone", " He shifted to the side, lightly closing the book, " Personally I would love to leave, but you and I both know Thor would drag me back here, and" He chuckled with a slight evil, "would you really want to have me running around midguard unsupervised? I could team up with the Pseudo god and my Son" Loki put the option out on the table, it was the obvious one, either he would be on the side of the avengers or the other side, the fun side. "Frankly I would find that more amusing, destruction, chaos, pandemonium and mayhem, plus it has the benefits of family"
Loki opened the book again skimming the lines. he was finished with this conversation and hopefully the drunk in the room would realize that as well. he licked one of his fingers and flipped the page, this protected the pages from being wrapped in the process of moving them. the god made no other contact with the man in the room, he was trying to go back to "leaving everyone alone"
