Tyler
After a while of playing she wanted to play tag. Oh no this was his game. She couldn't win this one. "I'm gonna get you!" He yelled sprinting after her, he was using a lot of energy to catch up to her but he thought it was worth it. After a few minutes of running he finally caught up and tagged her. "Tag you are it!" He laughed softly before running towards the wet sand, it would be easy for them to run on that sand instead of the dry lose sand.

Kwin
She giggled and saw him sprinting after her. But soon he caught up with her and tagged her as she squealed in delight. "You got me!" Kwin shouted before she giggled and turned to run after him, the dry and soft loose sand kicking into the air with her steps before they hit to firm wet sand. Laughing, Kwin ran after him. It took some time, but she eventually tagged his arm before giggling and turning to run away. "You can't catch me!" She shouted in a playful taunt

After a little bit of running she caught up to him smiling as she tagged him. "You wanna bet?" He called back before turning to run after her. After a little bit of running he gasps, pain radiated from the gash on his chest. He skidded and fell over giving a small cry. His arm clinging to his chest, curling into a fetal position. The pain had been to much to keep moving. He wanted to be able to keep going to keep her prefect day going. It just wasnt working out the way he had hoped.

She laughed at his words, enjoying this time with him. She failed to hear his gasp, but then noticed the sound of his footsteps had stopped. Pausing, Kwin turned and saw him lying on the ground. She gasped in alarm before rushing to his side. "Oh...my stars, what happened?" She asked, trying to see but he was in the fetal position. "Tyler, are you okay?" Kwin asks, placing a hand on the side of his face. "What's going on? Talk to me..."

Looking up at her for a moment before closing his eyes tightly. "my chest, but it's okay give me a minute we can still play." He said quickly shifting on the ground as he tried to get up but didnt make it very far. He didnt qant this day to be ruined. He wasnt going to let the brightness of the day be lost due to this. She was more important to him.

Her eyebrows furrow at his words and she shakes her head, watching him try to get up only to not make it very far. "No Tyler, stop... you are hurting yourself." She says with a frown. "Let me see..." She says, leaning closer and pulling up his shirt despite any protesting. And then her eyes widen a bit. "Tyler... it's getting infected. Why didn't you say anything? Oh god... there's sand in it!"

Closing his eyes tightly as she pulled up the shirt, his wound had stuck to it. Frowning as she spoke. "I'm sorry. I just need to be okay. You don't need to worry!" He huffed upset, that this wasn't the way he had planned this to go. This was their last vacation before they had their war. This should be about him and his wound. This is about her, he wanted her to be happier.

Her eyebrows furrowed and she stared at him a little. "You just need to be fine...?" No, no Tyler, you aren't fine." She shakes her head, looking down at him. "We have to get this treated or else it will only get worse. Why didn't you tell me Tyler?" Kwin asks, feeling a little betrayed that he had tried to keep this a secret. And the sand in his wound... this was her fault. If only she hadn't been so selfish...

Frowning as she spoke waving a dismissive hand. "Kwin really I'm okay. We are playing tag. And it looks like you got me so I have to get you. We can deal with this later." He said softly wincing as he leaned up. He didnt mind the pain as long as she was going to be happy.

Her eyebrows furrowed and she shook her head. "later? Tyler, you're bleeding. This can't just wait until later." She watched as he leaned up, gritting her teeth a little. "Seriously, stop. We need to take care of you. Playing tag can wait. But all of this sand will only make infection worse." Why wasn't he being reasonable? Why had he continued on if he was in pain??
