Deerstar's ears flicked hearing a couple leaders fighting. Turning toward the bicker leaders, she took a deep breath. "Remember the truce," she meowed, keeping calm. "No fighting during the full moon," she explained, before turning back to the others.

Powderbeeze chuckled. "I've been with Deerstar, since the beginning pretty much," she meowed. "We've had a few more join in the recent moons," she explained, looking at the other deputy, that Smokespeck called to. "Yeah, I'm Powderbreeze, deputy of Snowclan," she replied to Softfire. "Growing," she replied. [Powderbreeze, deputies]

Hailwish smiled. "Don't worry, I missed it too, due to a queen giving birth," he explained. "Blizzardpaw why don't you wonder about?" he asked, dismissing the apprentice from the group.[Hailwish, medicine cats] [blizzardpaw,open]

He stiffened. Sagestar was no way going to give Russetleaf up, she was their only medicine cat and he'd be damned if he gave her up. But on the other hand what if Russetleaf had indeed done the dreadful deed? Gulping, Sagestar glanced at Russetleaf. ''I'll need to talk to Swanfoot, for a moment, if you may.'' He replied, voice stiff with caution. ''Certainally.'' Swanfoot murmured, nodding to Malloweyes. Spotting her leader descending from the high-rock, Swanfoot padded over to him, tail held high. ''What is it?'' She murmured in a hushed voice. ''Should I give up Russetleaf or go to war?'' Sagestar inquired. ''I'm worried if she's actually done something wrong...''


''Rosie!'' cried Foxtail, nuzzling her mother lovingly. ''So much has happened, oh starclan!'' the ginger warrior felt like crying, but she composed herself. ''These are my kittens, they're apprentices, Rosepaw has just finished her training!'' Foxtail exclaimed excitedly. Ashpaw shuffled his paws, and huffed loudly. ''But Ashpaw has caught up so quickly!''

''No...are you?'' Firefang replied, eyeing the blue cat. Firefang would feel so terrible if she hurt anyone. ''I apologize for running into you, I'm terribly sorry.'' the ginger warrior whimpered, flicking her tail. ''I've just been so terribly distracted recently.'' The tabby blinked uncertainally, but nodded nevertheless. He didn't want to bring such a beautiful cat down. ''I do hope so...'' Burrwhisker murmured, before spotting Harespring and Juniperfoot through the throng of cats. ''Is that one of your clanmates?''

Russetleaf whimpered to herself, paws tucked under her belly. She'd not been so maltreated since her kittenhood when Burrwhisker and Smokefur used to put thorns in her nest. ''Starclan help.'' she muttered to herself, bowing her head. Russetleaf could feel the burning glares of the Beechclan cats and wished that she never went to the moonpool. That was when all her troubles started. Looking up she spotted Mallowpool. ''Uh...hey, Mallowpool.'' Russetleaf murmured, her voice hoarse.

Ashenclaw glanced around nervously as he led the others into the clearing. He took a deep breath as he gazed up at where the leaders were gathered. This was his third Gathering, but it would be his first time without Emberstar, and he hoped he wouldn't embarrass the Clan when he had to make his announcement. He watched as the others disappeared into the crowd, the three apprentices bouncing around with excitement. As he scanned the crowd, he found himself searching for Sheepclaw and decided not to join the leaders just yet so he could have time to talk to her.

"No, I haven't, but I might soon, who knows," The ginger tom mewed with a smile. "And that would be really cool! I wonder what our full names will be."
Willowcloud smiled as she watched Applepaw, and she looked around at the other medicine cats, uttering a "hello" to the ones arriving.

"Well, hello Bumbletuft!" Briardusk chirped. "I'm Briardusk, a LeafClan warrior." She gave a friendly smile, hoping to put the medicine cat at ease. Gatherings were supposed to be fun, not nerve-racking, after all. "This is my second Gathering. All the medicine cats are over by that tree -" she pointed with her tail, "- the leaders are on the Great Rock, and the deputies underneath it. The leaders are supposed to be making their announcements any moment now, I think."

"I don't see the point of all this, honestly," Patchthorn grumbled to Frostpath. "Except the leaders making their announcements, of course. Why should we be speaking with and making friends with cats of other Clans? It will only cause trouble, if you ask me." Frostpath couldn't help but agree with him. This was the place where Ashenclaw had met that AsterClan she-cat. Her fur began to bristle at the thought of it. She and the older warrior sat at the edge of the clearing, away from everyone else, waiting for the Gathering to end although they had just arrived.

"It's so huge..." Daisypaw whispered, gaping at the throng of cats. Foxpaw scoffed, "You're not scared, are you? It's not that bad, honestly." An expression of hurt appeared on his sister's face, and she prodded him hard in the ribs. "I'm not scared!" Birchpaw watched his two siblings with amusement before mewing, "Come on, let's just go find other apprentices to talk to."

Morningstar approached the leaders, greeting them with a slight nod. "Hello," He said politely. This was all he said before moving to a spot a few inches away, close enough to listen but far enough that he wouldn't be expected to chat much.
His gaze narrowed at Sagestar and Sorrelstar. There wasn't enough proof. The only cats who'd seen the fight were Beechclan cats. Medicine cats didn't hurt others. If it came to a battle, Morningstar didn't want his clan anywhere near it.

"We're fine. A new apprentice joined us recently." Woolyfur told them. "She'll make a fine warrior when she's older. Tigerkit and Willowkit keep insisting we make them warriors because she's a moon older than them. They're five moons and she's six." He chuckled softly, amused.

Shadedleaf with the medicine cats

"Hello!" Shadedleaf greeted her fellow medicine cats cheerfully. "Sorry I missed the first medicine cat gathering. Cloudpool and I were busy." The ebony she-cat told them.

Juniperfoot + Harespring are open

"I haven't been to a gathering in ages!" Juniperfoot said, excitement in her voice. "Me neither," Harespring replied, gazing over the clans. "There's even more cats than I can remember!" Juniperfoot remarked. "Hey where'd Sedgetail go?" She asked, when she noticed the silver tabby missing. Harespring narrowed his eyes, searching through the crowd intently. "I think I have some idea," He murmured, his eyes darkening.

Sedgetail followed his gaze to her clanmates. "Yes. You might remember Harespring. You met him at a gathering a couple moons ago. And the she-cat is Juniperfoot. She's one of my closest friends." She told him. "And if we keep looking at them, they'll notice us and come over here. Harespring doesn't like me talking to cats outside of Caveclan so he'll get mad if he finds us."

stonestar watched the fighting leaders with unease, not wanting starclan to get mad. the tom looked up at the sky, gazing at the full moon.

hawkfeather decided to go in the deputies group, just for once. he sat down near a chatting group of cats, hoping they'd notice him and invite him into the conversation.

cherryseed smiled at shadedleaf's cheerful mood. "good evening to you too. how is your clan?"

riversong kindly smiled at the ginger she-cat, curling her tail around her paws. "it's really okay, it was only a small accident. i'm riversong from brookclan, by the way."

thistlefang sat quietly in a corner, calmly grooming his fur. maybe if he waited, someone would come to talk to him.

mistbreeze and nightstrike sat together in a calm spot, their pelts brushing. with mistbreeze's kits occupied with their training, the pair finally had some time to themselves.

ivystep walked around the gathering place with bearnose, trying to find a spot where to sit down with a cat to talk to.

sunstream gazed at all the cats around her, trying to find a familiar face. maybe she could see falconflower again?

Leafstrike looked at Ravenfeather for a while, and she turned her head to look at him as well. They both blushed, Leafstrike the most, but this time they didn't look away. Leafstrike opened his mouth, closed it again, then blushed and opened it again. "well, I'm going to tell you something very stupid, and you're probably going to laugh..." he stopped and gulped. Ravenfeather smiled softly, encouraging him to speak. "well, I like you... A lot." Leafstrike said and he blushed furiously. Ravenfeather didn't make a sound, and as Leafstrike looked at her he could see she was smiling widely. "would you like to become my mate?" he asked softly. It only took a glance at Ravenfeather's smiling face to know what her answer was. "yes!"

Swanfoot must've looked mortified because Sagestar flinched. ''No!'' the white cat yelled. ''It's all a ploy to bring about our destruction, Sagestar!'' Swanfoot lashed her tail, fur prickling. ''Sagestar...no...'' She begged. ''Very well...'' Sagestar sighed, bounding back up the rock. He just wanted to go home, this was all too much. ''I shall not give you Russetleaf...therefore there shall be war.'' Sagestar murmured, glaring at Sorrelstar. ''War shall exist between us, Sorrelstar...'' and with that, Sagestar was gone.

Swanfoot breathed a heady sigh of relief. ''Well...farewell Malloweyes...'' The white warrior replied, dipping her head. Flanking her leader, Swanfoot smiled softly at Sagestar. ''I do apologize...it must have been so hard for you.'' It wasn't just hard for Sagestar it seemed, Russetleaf was unable to comprehend the fact Tumbleclan was going to war for her sake. Flicking her tail, Russetleaf gazed skywards, as though searching for the very star that was Skunkbrush. ''I'm sorry.'' she muttered under her breath.

Firefang felt curiously disappointed to leave after having so little talk to such a kindly cat. ''I'm Firefang of Tumbleclan...'' she replied, flicking her tail. ''I must apologize, I have to leave!'' the ginger warrior exclaimed over her shoulder, darting off to join her comrades. ''You seem very nice!'' Firefang called, earning her a silencing glare from Swanfoot. Foxtail groaned inwardly, lashing her tail. ''I must apologize, mother, but I have to go...'' the ginger warrior sighed. ''Bye Rosie!'' Rosepaw mewed, beaming at her elderly grandmother. ''Bye Rosie...'' Ashpaw chimed in, flicking his ears. He was truly glad to leave such stifling atmosphere. Dutifully trotting after Foxtail, Rosepaw watched as Ashpaw bounded up to Swanfoot. He seemed to be spending much more time around the snow pelted cat.

''Well, I'm going now, so he won't be able to tell you off.'' Burrwhisker replied, flicking his tail. He felt that Harespring was so unreasonably harsh towards Sedgetail. ''See you, Sedgetail, stay out of trouble, huh?'' Burrwhisker smiled, getting to his paws. The tabby warrior then took flight, although he admittedly took one last look at the silver tabby before vanishing into the rocky moors that Tumbleclan called home.

Squirrelstar stepped forward. "Echoclan is doing better than ever! Raggedtail has become a warrior, and he will soon have three new warriors joining him! Yewpaw, Pigeonpaw and Witheredpaw left on their journey up the mountain a few days ago! They are expected back in a moon! Also, Bayfur has given birth to Stagstep's kits! Gorsekit and Icekit! Sunnyflower has also moved into the nursery expecting her second litter."
