”i don’t know.” she murmured and drank a bit of the water. “thank you for letting me share a room with you.”

Sasha smiled, “Of course. I’m glad you get to stay here with me,” she spoke genuinely, glad to have made a new friend.

”hopefully i don’t bother you.” she whispered and rubbed her eyes. she yawned gently and sighed.

Sasha shook her head, “you haven’t so far, I doubt you will. Besides, I really like you.”

”where will i sleep? i can always sleep on the floor.” lexa said softly.

Sasha shook her head at the notion of Lexa sleeping on the floor. “Sleep in my bed, I was just about to get my spare mattress anyways,” she said with a smile. She wasn’t lying.

”i can sleep on that. i don’t want to be invading your space even more.” she murmured and sighed softly. “can i talk to you about something?”

She didn’t seem happy with Lexa’s answer, but put it off for a moment. “Of course, what is it?” She asked softly.

"school has always been a struggle for me. i was talking to your mom about my life before i met you and mentioned that i had begged my old foster parents to put me in online school but they never did. your mom said i could switch to online school if i wished but to try to go to normal school a bit more. i'd feel horrible leaving you so please try to make my school year better." she whispered.

Sasha’s eyes widened and she nodded, “I’ll try to make it better for you, really. Thank you for telling me.” Sasha’s heart skipped a beat at the realization that Lexa staying in school was dependent on her.
