"Look, I'm going to worry either way, so it might be best if you tell me." He sat down on a couch and leaned his head back.

"But, what if I don't want to, my head hurts and-" she was cut off by the high pitched scream of a pigeon, "will you please shut up?!" She instantly got quiet again, "I'm sorry about that, a, uh, friend of mine was talking loudly."

"Yeah, well 'Flame Thrower' left me, and frankly, she left her best friend too," he scoffed, throwing a sad look towards Ella, "is she even taking it well?"

"We have time, let's discuss it over the coffee," she grabbed Coal's hand and drug her down the sidewalk, turning to look behind her every once in awhile.

She walked back over to Scott, feeling him playing with the strands and smiled. "My name's Ella, Coal stormed off because she burned down a building, and wouldn't listen, and then when I tried to get her to listen, she tried to tu," she walked away from rn me into a human torch. She's gone, she walked away from Scott again, "I'll work for you guys, on one condition, and one condition only... you help me find her, before she hurts herself, or someone else," her voice was a low whisper.

"There is no way I can get her hair to look like a waterfall," he spoke as Ella walked away.

She turned to Scott and smiled sadly, "it's the only thing I can do to find Coal, so I guess I am," she put her attention back on the phone, "don't make me regret it."

Steve tried to put on a smile at the news, but he just couldn't seem to get the little flamethrower out of his head.

"So, what I'm getting is that your best friend just let you leave?" She scoffed and stirred her coffee, "some best friend. You're probably better off without her."

Anger flashed in her eyes, quickly she pushed the girls coffee away from her before grabbing her throat. Coal let her grip tighten, "Don't you ever talk about Ella like that again. I can rip you to pieces in a split second, do you understand?" People were starting to look at them in worry, one even had their phone out, but Coal just snarled at Arianna.

"Sweet! Man I'm so excited!" He grabbed her hand and led her to their building, where a car was waiting to take them back to Stark.

He finally stood and laughed, "I wont sweetheart." He ended the call and stared out the window, "We'll find her."

Ella was sitting in the back of the car with Scott, Steve had opted to sit in the front. She turned to Scott, suddenly feeling the burden of what had happened today, "do... you think she's okay?" She tried to hold back her tears, but a few slipped out, she was already feeling lost without Coal by her side.

He sat in the front seat, barely listening to Ella's voice behind him. He was lost in his own thoughts, many of which hoped that SHIELD wouldn't get blamed for that burning building.

She felt the panic grow inside her, she knew she shouldn't have said that, "Coal..." she felt her voice shake, "I'm sorry, I've seemed to upset you..."
