(Taking Graystar and Willowstep)

Graystar and Willowstep arrived side-by-side. Graystar jumped onto the rock, and Willowstep stood near the edge, studying the crowd. The medicine cat had not prepared herself for as many cats as she saw, so she stayed in one place, feeling a bit awkward.

(Cats attending, Deerstar, Powderbreeze, Hailwish, Blizzardpaw, Shadedfrost, and Frostedleaf)

Deerstar smiled, flicking her tail to gather the gathering patrol. "Shadefrost and Frostedleaf will be joining me, Powderbeeze, Hailwish, and Blizzardpaw at the gathering," she meowed. "Lets go!" she yowled, heading down the moutnains and to the gathering area. Taking a deep breathe, she stopped at the edge her eyes searching. "Remember, this is time to find out what is going on with the other clans," she murmured, before allowing her clan to go in. Walking over to the other leaders, she nodded in greeting. "Good evening everyone," she moewed formally. (Deerstar, talking to other leadrs)

Powderbeeze ran off to find other deputies to talk to, her eyes searching the clearing for a friends. (Powderbreeze opened, looking for deputies)

Hailwish and Blizzardpaw walked over to the medicine cat group, nodding. "Good evening everyone," Hailwish meoewed, settling down to chat. (Hailwish and Blizzardpaw talking to medicine cats)

Shadedfrost and Frostedleaf glanced at each other, nervous for their first gather. Seeing a group of warriors, they trotted over together. (Frostedleaf and Shaddedfrost are both open)

Robinstar and her Clan streamed into the clearing as one before they each went their separate ways. Robinstar stalked silently through the crowd, her gaze scrutinizing every face. The murderer has to be here somewhere, she told herself as she peered around. At last, the tall she-cat forced herself to jump up onto the Great Rock. "Good evening," she greeted in a falsely cheerful mew. "AspenClan is doing just fine. Fantastic, even. It's great here. Very... very safe." Her voice began to falter, and she gritted her teeth in an exaggerated smile, attemptin to dig her claws into the stone.

Briarstar led the cats into the gathering, his chest puffed out proudly and his eyes gleaming brightly. His tail curved into a complex signal, and the Thicketclan cats scattered throughout the gathering clearing.

Briarstar powerfully leaped onto the leader's rock, shaking out his thick fur. He sat quietly, watching the obvious tension between some of the leaders. A war had broken out, hadn't it? He pricked his ears curiously to listen.

Morningpaw and Sunpaw walked side by side, Sunpaw looming protectively over his short sister. He wasn't a medicine cat, but he didn't trust his sister being alone. The siblings quietly observed the rest.

Dapplewhisker and Wildstorm chatted loudly, the two friends joking about the gathered cats. Eventually they quieted, glancing curiously around the clearing.

Applepelt hopped away from the rest of his clan, eyes wide with wonder. He had never seen this many cats before! He kneaded the floor excitedly, tail quivering happily behind him.

Jaystar was in no rush to get to the gathering, nor did any of the cats joining her today. They all looked drained of life, darn I say it, they looked Soulless. Mudpaw's death had hit them hard, the leader and the deputy especially. Though it seemed as if the sister of the lost victim was taking it harder. No one said a word as they entered the clearing. Jaystar didn't even give her short briefing as she had always done. How could she tell her clan to 'make merry' when she couldn't even muster a smile? The Soulclan dispersed, hearts heavy and frowns upon their faces.

Jaystar took her place on the Highrock though she didn't look at the other leaders. She just couldn't. Her mind was still off in another world and her heart still aching for her son. Thrushclaw climbed up beside her and pressed up against her, the mates taking comfort in the warmth of one another. "I miss him so much..." She choked out a sob. "I do too Jaystar.. I do too.."

Aspenleaf walked around, a million thoughts running through her head. The prophecy being the main one. Her eyes drifted around occasionally to give a cautious look to the Beechclan cats as well as her apprentice. Although she would much rather find the other clan guilt to Starclan's prophecy, she just couldn't shake the image of the cat of shadow's that looked so similar to her apprentice... It frightened her way too much..

Genuinely, Hearthflame felt like the weight of the world was crushing him out of spite. Aspenleaf, even during the clan's time of grief, seemed to avoid him completely, as if it was his fault poor Mudpaw died. If only that was the reason, at least he'd know why his mentor treated him this way. It hurt him more than words could explain.. He began to trudge over to the gathered medicine cats but then stopped. If Aspenleaf didn't want him around, why would anyone else? And so he turned and found a small area to sit down and hang his head sadly.

Cypressdawn sighed for what seemed like the dozenth time that night, making Amberstorm beside him nudge him a little, but say nothing. Both knew not what to say to comfort each other. Amberstorm knew Mudpaw well, the little tom always coming her way to complain about his sister. And despite the harsh way he spoke about her, there was clear adoration in his voice, caring and loving. As if they read each other's mind, both warriors found their eyes drifting over to a secluded corner of the clearing where Mistlepaw sat, her pink bow a loud contrast to the dark gloomy air around her..

Tears stained her face as she sat with her head in her paws. In it sat the dark blue ribbon that once belonged to Mudpaw. Mistlepaw had clung to it when they found his body and refused to let it go. She wished she did though for it didn't ease the aching she was feeling for losing her brother. They hated each other, probably the biggest rivals within Soulclan, but under all that hate, she loved him to death. They did everything together and now that would no longer happen. He was gone, he left her alone. "You idiot...who said you could die." She muttered through a cry to the blue ribbon.

It was hard to pretend you care when you really don't. Bouncepaw was having a hard time not bouncing around eagerly like she normally did to match the air of melancholy around the place. The two warriors found it easier, except when another sad clanmate came by looking for comfort. The pains of being two of 'sweetest warriors' in camp. AH, but they were both proud of the development. Soon. Very soon would things fall into place.

Briarstar acknowledged the leader of Flowerclan with a warm smile, wiggling his tail happily behind him. He mewed, "Oh, we're doing wonderfully! We have had our first litter of kits, and that is why my deputy is absent." He smiled fondly at the thought of the new additions, letting out a hearty purr.
