Adelind walked inside the caves entrance, moving her wings to her side in order to avoid scraping them. Before allowing her pupils to adjust to the change in light, as she walked inside.

Zarak looked up when he heard someone enter the cave before he smiled,"Adelind, my love. It won't be long know till the kingdom is ours." He grinned as he sat up.

Adelind looked over in his direction, before sitting down as she listened. She then nodded at him, while folding her wings closer to her side." I know", she replied.

Zarak got up and moved over to her before sitting next to his mate,"Just think, when this is all over, you and I will be the new rulers of the kingdom. Everyone will be under our claws." He said happily.

Adelind watched him walk over, before looking out of the caves entrance." You will be facing some resistance, the moment the attack happens", she replied.

Zarak slightly narrowed his eyes,"Resistance? From who? The Royals don't know about our plans and we have their daughter. We have the element of surprise." He said.

Adelind looked back at him, and tilted her head to the side." you are aware that some of their guards do the nightshift as well, the moment you attack, they will be alerted and send someone to warn the royals, unless their dealt with first", she replied.

Zarak listened closely to her before nodding a bit,"I am aware of that, and they can't report what they can't see. We'll have the darkness and the shadows on our side to conceal ourselves." He said before grinned evilly,"Then again, where the fun in taking over a kingdom without a bit of resistance?" He asked.
