As some girls approached her Copeland popped her knuckles nervously. When once spoke she smiled slightly "Hi, Im Copeland... Nice party." She said looking aroundthe room. She didnt know what to talk about really, she wasnt comfortable without Brice but she knew she had to suck it up and be a big girl so why not start here

Macey seemed to be able to sense an out of place vibe from Copeland. She just sort of curved her lips into a smirkish smile and chuckled at her comment. "I've seen you around; this doesn't seem like your sort of thing. So, what brings you here, doll?" She reached into her purse and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. She lit one and took a couple of puffs from it before turning to Copeland with an offering hand. "Smoke?"

Copeland looked at Brice "I came here with a friend, Brice." She said looking back at her. She was shocked people actually noticed her at school, she thought she was invisible. When she was offered a cigarrette Copeland shook her head. "No thanks, i have asthma but you can go ahead and smoke just dont blow it in my face." She said with a smile and a nod.

Macey's face seemed to brighten at the other girl's mention of Brice. "Brice? Really? I wonder what Miranda thinks of that." She chuckled. Her hand retreated the cigarettes back into her purse. She took another puff. "Friend, eh? How'd you manage that? I'm surprised he even talked to you."

Copeland blinked at that comment "We literally ran into each other and it went from there." She said quickly and casually then stood up "Ill be right back." She said and walked over to Brice. "Im gunna get some air so ill be outside." she said in his ear and tried to find an exit. When she did she stepped outside and took a deep breathe

Macey hiked an eyebrow at the girl's sudden disappearance. She just shrugged and assumed it was the smoke.

Brice was startled slightly when Copeland spoke then left soon after. He hadn't realized he'd been caught up in conversation as long as he was. Now, thinking on her words, he realized she was probably upset with him. He wrapped up his conversation with Kaylee then moved to put the drinks he had gotten back into the cooler. He pulled out two colder cans of the same drinks as before, then headed outside.

Once he found her, he tapped her shoulder with the can. "Cope, I'm sorry. I didn't realize I had been talking that long. Here." He popped the can open for her then offered it.

"No its totally fine, i know you are the King and you get caught up its no biggie" she took the can and looked anywhere but at him. She wasnt mad at him or anything she was just not used to this "You can go back, Ill be fine." She glanced and him and took a sip of her drink. "Why did you bring me here? Was it to make that girl jealous?" she rambled suddenly and glared at him "I mean come on Brice. Im not some toy you can just put in a cute outfit and take around your friends. We are completely opposite and obviously these people want you and that Miranda chick to be together so why bring me?" She asked and crossed her arms over her chest.

Yep. He knew it. She said it wasn't him, but in that head of hers, she probably had him on stakes. He sighed and opened his drink before leaning his back against the porch banister. He took a long sip, then sat it down. "Honestly, I brought you here because I wanted to show you that I'm not afraid of having you around my friends -- that I'm not hiding you. ...If anyone's mentioned Miranda, it's just because that's what they're used to. Seeing me with someone else, and someone who's not from the circle is...weird to them." He stopped to take a swig. "Trust me, if I wanted to toy with a girl, I had plenty of other, easier options." His hand made a sort of toasting gesture and he chuckled.

"Well its weird for me too." She mumbled and stood infront of him. She felt bad for thinking that he was using her so she thought of a way to make up for it "Im sorry. I just dont trust easy and you are just too good to be true sometimes." Copeland grabbed his chin softly then kissed him. As her eyes closed slowly she deepend the kiss. She dropped her drink and grabbed his shirt getting on her tippie toes.

Her words made his lips curved into a light smile, and though the approach was slow, the kiss still caught him off guard. He hadn't been expecting that response from her. He rested his arm behind the small of her back and followed her lead until she gripped his shirt. That seemed to ignite a fire in him. He sped up the hiss and his arm moved from around her, fumbling to place the can down on the banister. ...Whether or not it made it was unknown, but he didn't care. He turned them so that she was against the banister before his hands moved to her waist to hoist her up onto it. He thought he'd alleviate her the trouble of trying to reach him. One arm moved around her back again for security while the other burrowed beneath her hair.
