{It's a pretty good series. I'm almost finished with the last book. :3}

Kai only smiles when Clarity turns away from him all exasperated like, letting out a small chuckle. Really, he wasn't that dense. He just thoroughly enjoyed annoying Clarity. After taking Clarity's hand, he glances over at her, a small grin spreading across his face. She was bright red. "What are you so red for?" He asked quietly after a moment, watching her curiously before smiling. "Am I embarrassing you, Clarity?" He teased, wondering what thoughts were running through her mind. Gazing at the other couples, he figured they must look just like one of them. A happy couple. Well, aside from the fact Clarity was beet red. He had wanted a reaction from Clarity, but something else too. He just wasn't quite sure what. Maybe he'd have to ask Clarity out officially. Did she already consider them a thing? How many boyfriends had Clarity had in the past, anyway? Feeling her fingers entwine more tightly with his own, he only blinks at her as she looks up at him with that twinkle in her eyes. What was that all about? One minute she looked like he'd just pants her or something, and now she was looking at him like this? Maybe she only liked him for his ice cream money, he thought, adopting an amused smile in place of his thoughtful frown. "Alright." He said simply, raising his eyebrows at her choice and turning away from her for a moment before turning back to her with a grin. "I'm starting to think you only like me because I buy you sweets." He confessed, ordering their ice cream as they made it to the front of the line. He was pulling his wallet out of his pocket when he remembered Grove, who was watching them with a disapproving look on her face as he turned to her. "Grove! How could I possibly forget about my queen?" He exclaimed dramatically, a distraught look crossing his face. Releasing Clarity's hand to grab Grove into his arms, he grinned at her. "And what flavor of ice cream would you like your majesty?" He asked, putting in Grove's order once she'd told him and paying for everything, handing everyone their cones before looking to Clarity expectantly as he licked at his. He was waiting for her to pick a spot for them eat.
Motoko shakes her head. "No dramatic story, just Kai being Kai." She replied, smiling at him as he scooted near her on the table. Looking up at him, she only grins when he raises a brow in her direction. She was already up the staircase and halfway to her room when she heard him yelling something about dangers. "Dangers?" She said quietly to herself, appearing rather confused by the comment. What dangers lurked at Bryan's house? Even if Clarity and Kai came back, they certainly weren't very scary, and if Grove hadn't gone with them, Motoko didn't see her as much as an obstacle in getting to those pictures. If anything, Grove would be eager to see them herself. Heading to her room, Motoko picked out an outfit, and washed in her bathroom rather quickly as far as she was concerned. 15 minutes was close to record times for her as she padded downstairs in her pair of brown sandals, an orange top, and some light colored jeans with rips in the knees. (Updated her outfit too.) A small gray rabbit had followed her down stairs and they were both watching Bryan quizzically. "You know, you could have turned on the tv or something." She told him, nodding in the direction of the living room as she applied some clear lip gloss. Smiling at at the boy, she grabbed his hand to pull him to his feet. "We must hurry!" She stated dramatically, shooing away the little rabbit as he followed her towards the door and explaining to him he had to stay here. Stepping outside, she squinted at the sunlight for a moment before turning her green gaze to Bryan's truck. Motoko stared at the car intensely for a moment before speaking. "My cars much cuter." She concluded, seemingly the only observation she'd made since stepping outside. Motoko had a green mini cooper sitting in the garage, and she absolutely loved it. "You know, maybe we should get some code names or something." She said, hopping up into the truck when Bryan unlocked it. "And were gonna need a back-up plan, too." She added, nodding. Motoko refused to let their little mission go awry, plus, it was more fun this way.
