"No! No, it's fine... and I am not embarrassed." I muttered scrunching my nose up. I untied the rabbit where it was hanging on the back pack and looked at him. "It doesn't really matter, we grew up different so your used to it one way while I'm used to it the other way." I muttered as I set the rabbit down. It didn't bother me that he liked it that way, no the thought that bothered me was me eating it that way. I just couldn't really seeing myself doing that.. I shuddered at the thought, before looking down at him. I gave him a small smile, "your should probably eat it and then get some rest. And do not say your not tired. You are going to rest." I muttered looking at him with narrowed eyes. Running my hand threw my hair and I bit down on my lip, playing with his hair again.
>>Sorry it's small and I'm leaving. I'll be back in a few minutes once we get to my dads.

i rolled my eyes. "riiiight." i said making sure i put a lot of emphasis on the word. "and i should believe you why?" i asked her raising an eye brow. i listened to her when she started talking about us being different. i nodded in agreement. "right, right." i said after she had stopped talking. when she set the bunny down in front of me, i looked at her. "you still look uncomfortable with the whole situation. and besides my jaw feels like it's on fire." i stated, meaning that i wasn't going to eat at this very moment in time. i set the bunny aside and smiled for possible the fourth or fifth time. "i'm not tired." i finally said, pouting a little and folding my arms across my chest. really, i wasn't i was feeling just peachy. but then the hunger came back and i took a bite of the bunny. not that i cared that she was watching. after a bit i tossed the bunny -well what was left of it- into the woods and yawned laying down. "i'm still not tired." i muttered my eyelids going to about half-mast. i rolled my eyes and opened them again, feeling a little drowsy. the burning sensation in my jaw was easing, so i wasn't too worried. i yawned again, biting my lower lip to muffle a soft cry of pain. yeah it was still sore but i still had to yawn. looking at her drowsily, i rested my head in the dirt, not really to "excited" to be drowsy and wanting to sleep.

I shook my head, and took out some of the rabbit and took a bite down into the tough meat. I licked my lips getting the grease off of my lips after I had finished the strip of meat. I quickly closed my bag up and crawled over to Luka. I lifted his head into my lap running my finger down his fore head down his face. "You need to sleep Luka, It's fine. I'm here just rest." I muttered smiling slightly. I ran my fingers threw his hair and bit down on my lip glancing around. My eyes wandered up to the sky and I could see the stars very clearly from where I was sitting. They looked so beautiful, so so beautiful. I began humming to myself, and closed my eyes enjoying the slight breeze in the night air. I let my head fall back and I took in a deep breath of the chilly night air, a smile slipping onto my lips. I played with Lukas hair unconsciously, and continued humming.

I shook my head refusing to close my eyes. But it was useless to even try to resist when she started hummin' n' all. I moved closer to her pushing her to lay down. I laid next to her and smiled, nuzzling my face into her side. I couldn't help but to purr. Closing my eyes and snuggling up to her as close as possible. When I was comfortable, I sighed deeply, and felt myself drifting in and out of consciousness. Yawning one last time I rolled on my side and pulled her to me, burying my face in her neck. I purred a little louder, and kissed her forehead before I found myself slowing falling asleep.

I smiled at him adoringly. I don't know what it is, but this boy didn't understand what he did to me. I had fallen head over heels in love with him, and I don't even know how that happened. Sighing I rested my head on his arm and looked up at the sky. My body was tingling where he was touching me. And I shivered slightly every time he breathed out on my neck. My heart wouldn't stop racing. I bit down on my lip and looked down at Luka. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. But I knew, for the most part, what was going on inside his head. What was going on with him. I kissed the top of his head, before I felt sleep start to take over my body. And I didn't fight it, I was at peace for once since we got on this Island. I wasn't about to push it away. I closed my eyes falling asleep in his warm and comforting embrace.
>>Ha I can't get to sleep. And I have school, Ugh I hate school. At least I have my best friends party to look forward to this sunday. And then mine four days later! I'm so excited. Then two days later I'm going to Mall of America, and the Worlds Toughest Rodeo with my FFA. Then I'm celebrating my birthday the weekend after that. I'm so excited!

-- time skip? And I've got a friend that's in the FFA. I use to be but quit, 'cause it just wasn't right for me. She's got a trip coming up soon. And she's gabbing about going to some hotel with a glass elevator. Me, I'm not afraid of heights but looking below you...I'd freak. But that's cool. I'm gonna post one more time then I'm goin' ta bed.

-- sorry i didn't post earlier, i was really busy making a form in less than a day, and on the end date of a contest. that i decided to join at 1:40 in the morning. a little before you posted. --

luka woke up, looking around to find himself still snuggled up to Kat. he smiled and yawned softly, before letting her go and venturing towards the water, and sitting down by it. setting his feet in the cooler water. the sun was barely up, and he felt better, even if the stinging and burning pain was still in his jaw, it had lessened over the night, and he didn't have much pain at all. just a little tingling feeling. the bruising had gone down, and he was glad for that. he thought back at what happened, and he flinched instinctively. he had hit that stump hard, and paid the price for it. taking off his shirt, he slipped into the chilly water and washed his face, still having the remnants of blood on it. he relaxed there, up to his chest in the water, before he kind of ducked under and decided to swim to the other side. seeing that this "lake" was probably no bigger than an average pond, and looked like a stream. walking through the chest-deep water he came up on the other side, and pulled himself out, watching as the bugs and frogs and other creatures started to wake up and let the world know that they were up and it was morning. he couldn't help but chuckle at the beauty of this place. after you got used to all the dangers and such. but the one thing that came across his mind, was if Marcus and the others really meant to harm them, or were just fighting to survive. because he wouldn't be surprised if it was the survival of the fittest -not that he'd want to participate.- he'd probably be the second best if your counting the lizard anyways. he chuckled at his wandering thoughts and caught a frog, setting it back into the water and watching it swim away. he was still hungry, but he had a big appetite, and he'd defiantly fix that when they got off the island and back home. he sighed. where ever home was anyways.
