" W-What happened? " He sighed bringing her inside and putting her down on the couch.

she took a deep breath and frowned "I fell..." she said softly and rubbed her eyes. Alex came in too and held onto a pillow. the little boy sat in the corner of the kitchen and cried into the pillow silently.

" Yeah.... " He waited for her to finish.

"what else are you wanting from me?! I was knocked out the whole time!" she snapped and made her hand in a fist annoyed.

Hugo stepped back, slightly startled. " Fine... Just...Rest. " He sighed looking at Alex.

she huffed and got up and stormed upstairs and flopped onto their bed and covered her head and body with the blanket.

Alex looked over to his dad and sniffled before looking back at the wall, setting the pillow down slowly.

" Alex, are you alright? " He asked, kneeling down to the child.

he winced and looked at his dad, fear still in his eyes "are y-you going to h-h-hurt me?" he asked scooting away, grabbing onto the pillow.
