Xander looked up at the ceiling and got comfy, then slowly falling asleep, having a rough time sleeping but got through it. Some shifting and turning.

Xander wakes up and is tired and sleepy and sighs moving around on the bed, then he looks at the ceiling then towards his door as he gets up slowly for the day. He rubs his eyes and yawns.

Catherine blinked her eyes open as light filtered in through her eyelids. She sat up and stretched before climbing out of bed. After getting out of bed, she got dressed for the day and walked downstairs to make some breakfast for the two of them. She made eggs from their chickens, and some ham that her mother had bought in town.

Xander got out of the guestroom and walked downstairs, finding the stairs. He heads down and looks over at Catherine and yawns. "Hey Catherine." He sees her making food. "Do you need any help?" He sits down on a chair near her.

Catherine turned her head as she heard approaching footsteps and smiled to see Xander. She shook her head “No, I’m okay, thank you though. It’s almost done,” she replied before turning back to the stove. “How did you sleep?” she asked over her shoulder, hoping that he had slept decent.

Xander nods at her not needing his help. He rubs his eyes more. "I don't think I got a good sleep, I am still pretty tired." Xander stretches and gets up to walk around to hopefully wake up a bit more. "Didn't think it would be so hard to get some sleep."

Catherine looked back at him, sympathizing a little that he hadn’t slept well again last night. “I don’t know why you seem to be having such a hard time sleeping.” she said, turning back to the food as she finished it up. She placed their servings on their plates and placed them onto the table as well as two cups of water. “It’s not nearly the breakfast we have at the palace, but it’s still good.” she said as she looked at him and smiled a little, hoping he didn’t mind the smaller portion than what they had for breakfast over there.

Xander smiled at her when she placed the food down for him and her. "Thank you Catherine! I am sure its going to be wonderful, I mean you even made it for me." He drinks some of the water then he starts to eat some of the food. "It tastes good! Thank you again." Isn't bothered by the smaller portion or anything.

Catherine sat down beside him and began to eat the food. She smiled happily at the compliment, glad that he was enjoying the breakfast. “Thank you,” she replied after she had swallowed the food she ate. She wondered silently what today was going to bring, possible news from the other kingdom? She tried not to think it could be negative as she continued to eat her breakfast. “What do you think today’s plans are?” she asked, wondering if he had any thoughts if the messengers would be back.
