Magnus blinked in shock before growling in anger. The coil re-tightened faster than he loosened it causing rage to fill him. He only stepped back when he felt Azuna's hand on his shoulder, pulling him back. She shot a glare down at Caia as she gently pulled Magnus away and back towards his family. "Are you determined to make everyone hate you?!"

Caia glared at Azuna, her hold on Hestia tightening. She watched her pull Magnus away, relieved to see him go.

Magnus shot one final glare at Caia before lurking back to Liah. Azuna hesitated a moment by Caia, still glaring at her. "You know, I feel lucky. If it weren't for your being so cold to everyone Mikah probably would have chosen you. So thanks, I guess, your being a worse person than me is making my life easier."

Caia glared at Azuna, anger bubbling in her veins. "Mikah likes you for you," she snarled. "Not because he doesn't like me. He has a thing for broken people. I guess you fit the description better than I do."

Azuna smirked. "It's cute how you think that will hurt me but speaking I am currently the only person we know who is still functioning properly I don't think he likes me for being broken. If that is what he was after I would have lost him to you when you tried to date Dash."

Caia snarled. "What do you want, Azuna?"
Hestia was playing with her mother's hair, completely unaware of the tension between the two adults.

"I want you to calm down. We all have targets on our backs and with every tantrum you throw the closer we are to death so fibd some way to relax before Magnus loses his temper." She didnt wait to receive more attitude, instead returning to mikah.

Caia growled, watching her leave. How dare she? Magnus had tried to kill her and her eldest daughter! He was the one that needed to calm down!

Azuba sat back down next to Mikah and looked to Liah. "So what is the plan? Are we going to fight back or what?"

Liah didn't know what they were going to do. She wrapped her arms around Magnus' waist, holding him close. Mikah wrapped his arms around Azuna, mumbling sleepily. "I..don't know," Liah admitted. "I don't know whether Iris would help or not. We don't have the numbers to fight back."
