Astra met her look. "He is." She watched her a few moments before speaking again. "You are being strong. Im proud of you Raelynn."

Magnus chuckled but nodded, kissing her forehead. "Of course."

Raelynn nodded slightly, her face serious, but a smile twitched on her lips before disappearing, showing that she liked having Astra proud of her.

Liah smiled, resting her head against his chest. "I love you," she murmured lovingly.

Magnus kissed her forehead and murmured he loved her as well. His eyes caught on where Caia was causing a frown to crease his face. He pulled away from his family and walked over to her. His shadow stretched over her before she realized he was towering above her, looking down with a serious expression at her. "Do you have a plan on how to handle this?"

Liah smiled, hugging him lightly before letting him go to Caia. She settled Lio and Magi down, getting them as comfortable as they could in the cave, so they could rest.

Caia stiffened, her back pressing against the wall. She held Hestia close protectively, her free hand going to her knife. "No, I don't," she told him coldly, trying not to show how much Magnus scared her. She didn't forget how he tried to kill her and Raelynn.

Magnus grunted, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Well if you begin to make a plan dont count me in on it. I will be taking my family to make a new settlement. If you intend to follow i suggest getting on liah's good side because i no longer have one."

"I won't be following you," she told him, a growl in her voice. "I wouldn't worry about it."

Magnus narrowed his eyes at her, the coil in his chest tightening. He forced himself to calm down and looked away to Astra. "So is she your new person?"

Caia's gaze narrowed. "Don't you touch her," she snarled, feeling worried that he'd hurt Astra to get to her.

Magnus rolled his eyes. "I am not going to hurt her. I just enjoy knowing who is about to get sucked into our tribe." He cast an annoyed glance at her. "You do realize your taste in people is terrible, right?"

Caia growled at him, anger in her eyes. "Get away from me and my daughter," she snapped, her grip tightening on her knife. "I want nothing to do with you, beast."
