river chuckled a bit, nodding his head in reply. "here we are." he repeated, pulling into the driveway of the house. "man, it's gonna be so empty for a few days." he mused, exiting the car.

marcella nodded with a smile. “we’ll have it all to ourselves!” she exclaimed as she got out to bear hug him. “i’m the only senior engaged so far.” she said excitedly.

river laughed, nodding his head in reply. as she bear hugged him, he scooped her up, carrying her into the house and playfully tossing her onto the couch. "what do you wanna eat?"

marcella smiled as she was tossed on the couch. “we could order pizza?” she suggested with a grin, getting up to grab butler and asher.

river shrugged before nodding. "i'm always down for some pizza." he murmured, pulling out his phone and dialing their go-to pizza place, ordering what they always did before tossing the phone onto the counter. "pizza has been ordered."

marcella carried the two cats, handing butler to river. she gave river a kiss before sitting beside him and flicking on the tv. “so... what do we do while we wait?” she asked.

river took the tuxedo cat, scratching behind his ears and smiling to marcella. he glanced to the tv, shrugging his shoulders a bit. "no idea. we could watch movies, or something." he murmured. "or, look at houses."

marcella stood up and ran upstairs, grabbing her laptop and coming back down. “okay, this one’s nice, and it’s just down the street!” she said, pointing to one that was almost identical, just smaller.

river chuckled as marcella ran off before returning with her laptop. he moved closer, observing the house. "does it have pictures of the inside?" he questioned curiously. "and a good backyard. when we have kids, we want them to have some running room." he chuckled softly.

marcella clicked through the pictures. “it has a great yard.” she said, kissing his cheek. “and it has four rooms, and an office and things.” she pointed at the picture of the kitchen. “and an open downstairs, so we could see what they’re doing.”
