Ryann sent the girl a soft smile, laughing at Oliver before shaking her head, "I've eaten already, but thank you" Ryann smiled, her english accent thick as she watched the little girl adore her new braids. Jack gave her a small slow nod, directing her exactly to his driveway as he rushed out of the car, running up to the beaten down house before going back and pulling Mercury along so she wouldn't get harassed-as he did live in the bad part of town. He shoved the door open, looking around before hearing loud sobs come from another room-he sprinted in, his arm in a sling as he looked down-the sight horrific. Jack looked down to see his sister that was two years younger than him on the floor, the medication of her anti depressants open and empty on the sink as he connected the pieces. His mother standing emotionless, shaking her head and leaving as Jack's eyes widened in disbelief. "M-Mom! You can't just l-leave at a time like this" he shouted, crouching down and ripping his sling off, picking her up into his arms, she lied lifelessly-but she had a pulse, he became relived. His mother entering again, "You two idiot kids! You two troubled kids! I can't take this! I'm leaving! When I'm back I don't want to see you or your sister here" she shouted in frustration and annoyance as Jack glanced at Mercury in embarrassment, his mother turning to her, "Leave him while you can-nobody can fix that" she hissed slamming the door and leaving-driving off as Jack stood-no emotions coming over him as he looked down at his passed out sister in his arms with red blotchy eyes, his own arm hurting like hell but he ignored the pain. He truly didn't know what to do anymore, he was broken.

Daniel began hyperventilating, he watched Cindy hold Anna back, the girl crying and everything seemed to stay in slo motion-his mother, was she really gone? Mercury stood by what she had said and had no regrets. Then, as Jack pulled her back to the car, she demanded he sit in the back. “Please. Ryann looked up at him as he entered, sending him a thankful smile as she unpacked the kit to grab what she needed-she couldn't help but glance up at him while he changed his shirt. Stealing a quick glance she blushed-looking at the kit before shaking her head, "No-it's fine, I might need some help though" she replied, pulling out a stitching kit before pulling her shirt up to expose her ribs only, her stomach smooth and muscled as she'd worked out every other day. She felt exposed but she ignored it as she inspected her own deep wound, she'd definitely need to put about three to four stitches in. She carefully brought out the needle, threading the material through it before gently and carefully stitching up her wound properly-she'd done this so often that she knew exactly what she was doing. She put the needle in a tissue to throw out-along with the access string as she grabbed the bandages, standing up and holding her shirt in the same position, "Could you cut me a square of that and tape it over the cut?" she asked-her english tone soft as she looked up at him.

Daniel cried louder into the girls shoulder-his arms wrapping around her as he let his emotions free, while also guiding them back towards the house. Daniel walked with her-no sound coming from him, not a word-however, his eyes were red and he was letting the tears free as he approached his house again, seeing Anna get into Cindy's car as he paused in confusion. "W-Where are you taking her?" he asked, his own voice quivering before a woman dressed in a blouser walked up to him with a frown. "You have no other family in this state except for your father, we've contacted him and he promised to look after Anna and you for a while" the woman told him, the new information hitting him like a ton of bricks as he shook his head. His father? Daniel thought about how terrible his life would be in his fathers abusive household-his heart shattering as his sister had to deal with it too. Daniel shook his head, backing up, "You-You can't let her go there! There has to be somebody!" he let out, "Well, your aunt Mary has denied out request-she's simply not healthy enough to look after another person" she answered, Daniel crying even more, "But! But he has lawsuits! You can't put my little sister in a house like that! I can handle it-but she's nine! She can't!" he exclaimed in sadness, his sister hearing him and turning her back to the window. This was terrible. His life had just gotten ten times worse-his father wanted to break every bone in his body and he had a gut wrenching feeling his sister had hated him, but why? "This conversation is over" the woman said sternly, obviously frustrated for having to repeat herself, "But-But can't I just look after her?" he asked, pleading as the woman shook her head, jotting something onto a pen pad and clicking her pen, turning and walking away. Daniel didn't know what to do.

Jack opened the door, getting out and grabbing his sister in his arms while shutting the door with his foot. Cindy took Anna to go to her house to grab some of her toys before bringing her back. His father pulled up into the driveway in his beaten up truck, spitting on the floor while opening up the door. Daniel's hands began to shake, he looked at the man, swallowing hard as he came over to him. His father patted Daniels back-roughly, before grabbing his arm to shake his hand. His grip deadly as he smirked, "Hello boy, glad you're coming home. Now, why don't you call that-girl a ride, we're leaving now" he said with an ugly grin as Daniel looked at Vienna in worry, his father pulling him to the truck and shoving him into the passenger seat before Anna got out of Cindy's car, running and giving her father a hug and jumping in. Daniels father looked at Vienna with a glare-he wasn't fond of people her skin type and Daniel was disgusted by it. Daniel attempted to open the door and step back out but he locked them, pulling out of the driveway quickly and driving away-tires screeching as Daniel looked back at the girl, sadness on his face before his dad threw a nasty comment about her into the air-Daniel growing uncomfortable, his father finally pulling into his driveway of his beaten down home. Dragging the two of them out by the arms and pulling them to his doorstep and into a house that smelt like smoked cigars. in the living room sat his girlfriend-a curly haired blond that was definitely under the influence. Daniel looked around, he hadn't been here in years-it looked worse every time.. Daniel sighed, going up to his old room to see his old instruments smashed, sadness filling him as he lied on the mattress that was on the floor-pulling the thin blanket over his body and falling asleep-Vienna and her father on his mind.

Daniel had got to the library with a black eye from an argument with his father. He was so sleep deprived from waking up in the middle of the night from the pain. Aspen woke up from the bright beams of the sun, her eyes squinting as she let out a huff-she was unable to rub the sleep from them because her arms were detained. Aspen yawned, wincing as her throat was still sore, she let out a pained groan attempting to move her arms around-she felt like a prisoner-she hated this. Aspen pulled, her forearm pressuring against the stretchy band before she ripped it, letting her arm free. Aspen rubbed the sleep from her eye, her arm hurting from some cuts and bruises as she looked over at Cade, sending him a small smile before looking down at her arm, reaching over to tear off the other band-she didn't care if they had to stay tied, she couldn't take the trapped feeling. She was overheating from the warm layers of blankets on her body, she wriggled her body around, slipping free the other arm before tearing off the sheets-her forehead beading sweat. She opened her mouth to call out for a nurse to turn up the air condition-she was too hot and it felt not only gross but uncomfortable-the sunlight and warm weather wasn't helping either.

Jack woke up to a soft kiss on the cheek, his own cheeks turning red as he smiled up at her"Good Morning sunshine" he smiled, letting out a yawn before scooching over and sitting up so they could eat on the bed. He let a small sigh- rubbing her back, "well.. at least it's getting better.. thanks for staying the night" he smiled sadly, playing with the ends of her hair-he didn't want this happiness to end but he didn't want the sadness to continue..
